The Royal George Inn in Allerdale

Called in for an evening meal after recommendation from our hotel.2 steak and Stilton pies later, 2 very satisfied customers.Good ale, good gin and VERY reasonably price.Excellent service and very welcoming.

1st time there, food was amazing big portion, staff so friendly would go back nxt time I'm here 😀 x

Called in for lunch after a weekend in Workington absolutely lovely Sunday lunch also tge steak pie was wonderful x plenty if staff no waiting time for food at all..... Great service definitely go again x

Nice pub area. The dining area did feel and look like a community centre hall. A few twinkling lights but very sparse.Staff friendly food wasn't marvellous but it was good. Service was fast so not waiting for a long time. To sum up "Good but a bit odd". Try it, you never know.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Food served quickly and was very tasty and plenty of it. Good place for family to have a nice meal together.

Had a meal today here and it was lovely! I had the "George burger" and it was delicious. For desert I got the "chocolate fudge brownie" which was also very good. Staff were very welcoming and efficient in taking and delivering orders. Bathrooms could do with a bit of a touch up but asides that a great place to go for a meal

We wanted somewhere dog friendly for a quick bite to eat.We weren't disappointed.Out dog was made very welcome and given a bowl of water whilst we ordered our drinks.The food arrived quickly and was hot, fresh and excellent quality.Would recommend.

Had brilliant service and decent food. Extremely nice people the person who served was I didn't get his name but was really nice and checked on us to make sure everything was fine
