The meals looked gorgeous but after asking for a small portion was told No they don't do small portions I can only eat little and often because of a medical problem I would have settled for a child's portion but no so ihad to make do with toast and jam and then could only eat 1 slice so not a good dining experience for me and I can't afford to waste money on something I can't eat,😐

Me and my parents decided to call for a late lunch on the last day in Feb. We got there and waited patiently for one of the many staff on shift to invite us to a table as directed by a sign, wait to be seated. After some time of watching all of the staff aimlessly doing anything in particular, a lady on the till decided to greet us and direct us to table 29. We waited over 20 mins for anyone to ask if we were ready to order, which would be understandable if it was busy, but we repeatedly watched a young member of staff walking around moving chairs and wiping the odd table which had not been occupied. The same lady took our order with no idea about customer service and at times was quite rude. She served the food by stating the dish and putting it down without a word. We had to ask for cutlery and told yes without apologies, and the hot drinks came after the meals. I don't normally leave reviews but was so dismayed at the lack of enthusiasm or regard for customers I felt the need to so the management are able to offer some training?

We had Sunday lunch . Very tasty but I'm afraid it wasn't very hot. Left me feeling a little disappointed, I did not complain as it was eatable but for us personally it needed to be hot!!

Good selection on food, very good price and efficient services. I’ve been 3 times and always had a good service!

Takes a while to get your order in (because they are so busy) but well worth the wait and goof value

Went for lunch at around 2pm, arrived and was shown to our table. Waited 20 minutes, watched as staff had a chat to each other, watched 2 other couples being shown to their tables and then get served. Waved at one of the staff to get their attention and was ignored. Finally got someone to come to our table and we told them that we has waited over 20 minutes, we were told "your table number wasn't written down" no apology. Food arrived quickly but we won't be going back ever again. The cafe was freezing lots of customers sitting with coats on. Watched customers walk out when we have been before and it seems nothing has improved.

Visited The Terrace cafe today for lunch. I called in at approx 11:10am. I was directed to a table and sat down waiting to place my order. Waitress came and took the orders from a group of people who arrived after us. This is not the first-time this has happened to us at this place. I waited following this for approx 10 mins before approaching a staff member at the till to advise them of what had happened. I was met with blank looks and disinterest. On realising I was getting viewed as a problem I advised her I was offended and that we were leaving. As I walked towards the exit the waitress told me she would have served me next..I pointed out she served customers who arrived after us and that I was leaving...Service left a bad taste in my mouth.

Went for lunch and had their very cheesy quiche made with tomatoes and onions. Very tasty. It is served with salad, all of which was crunchy and fresh. We had an additional side of chips, freshly cooked, crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. With an Americano this made for an excellent meal. Social distancing is in place together with sanitation on entry and exit as well as staff all wearing masks, so I felt safe here. Very good experience all round.
