VeeVa! in Allerdale

We had coffee and quesadilla. Not a standard lunch but it was good for me. Coffee OK Mocha was truly excellent! Friendly efficient service

Often frequent this place .The food is consistently good . However sometimes you have to wait for a table. It can get busy.

Food not the best. I ordered avocado on toast and what I got was lots of onion chutney, big slices of tomato and a few slices of avocado on shop-bought sliced bread, served with a salad with grapes. Avocado toast is so simple to perfect, so it's disappointing to see it go so wrong! Coffee was quite nice, but there are better places to go in the area.

Breakfast. Eggs Benedict was lovely. Very prompt competent service. We ate outside because we have a dog with us. The seating area is next to a busy junction which is noisy but dramatic at times. Never had a salad with French dressing before. My partner liked the combo but I can't see it myself.

Outstanding cafe. The best cafe experience I've had in a long long time. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the food and beverages were fantastic, nice and hot and full of taste. We were on holiday in the area and I would highly recommend Veena to all who enjoy a traditional cafe in a modern atmosphere. Great place

Attentive and charming staff. Good value. They have vegan options which was perfect for my sister. I really enjoyed my soup and cake.

Had breakfast here just as the restrictions on the pandemic lightened. It's a lovely place big tall ceilings inside very neat and tidy, staff are lovely, breakfast was great and came with a coffee however the coffee was not very strong at all but maybe I'm just used to Greg's now lol. Facilities clean and plenty not just 1 cubicle which I think is important. Some outside seating as well if you want to look at Sainsbury's and chug in some traffic light intersection smoke. We would come back my parents live in cockermouth so plenty opportunity. Thanks again. ☕🍽️🥪🥨🍳🥓

Fantastic breakfast!The queue for tables moved fairly quickly with good Covid-19 practices being implemented by staff.Staff were really friendly and polite. There's not many places you go these days that substitute your unwanted items in a full English, so being mushroom free and an extra rasher of bacon up I was a happy man. Perfect strong coffee to get you set for a day adventuring around in the lakes. The food was perfect with both me and my partner both being very impressed. You could have paid double and not grumbled at the food.We will definitely be visiting again next time we are around Cockermouth!Many thanks for such a great start to the morning

Wonderful cafe with delicious food and friendly staff. Good vegan options for my girlfriend and great options for non-vegan me!
