Yips Chinese Takeaway in Allerdale

The noodles were really nice,(best I've ever eaten) I recommend this restaurant for everyone!! The service was really quick too!! That's why I rate this restaurant 5 stars.

Food was good,quick service from order but one of our party had roast chicken which finally arrived just as the rest of us had finished our meals. staff should have waited with our food until all meals were ready. As said by other reviews it's a small place so only two waitresses so as it got busy service became slower but overall good night out

Read reasonable reviews but found the waitress totally unwelcoming, almost unpleasant. The food was bland and expensive for what it was.We will not be going back.

We dined in on this occasion. Previously had a take away. Food really good. Quick service. Pleasant staff. Will definitely eat in or get takeaway again. At 7.30 on a Sunday it was nearly full.

£3 For 1/3rd a bag of takeaway chips definitely refried from yesterday! £3!!! Avoid at all cost if it had been OK we would of had a meal inside for 2 with drinks £70/80, not now never.If they don't care about a little order like that,then what are they getting away with behind the scenes.

Had a take away from Yips tonight, chicken chow mien, braised prawn in Szechuan sauce and salt and pepper squid. We only visited here as it had a4.5 star review so thought as a visitor it would be good. What a disappointment. The food was extremely bland it didn’t taste of any seasoning at all. The braised prawn was just awful and went straight in the bin. We were staying too far away to go back and return it. It’s such a shame to have our last meal on holiday be such a disappointment. I’d avoid this place if possible.

Great service and food,very quick brought large portions to our table. Will go again.
