Really enjoyed the welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere Food really good, tastes great and piping hot. Looks to be well attended on the evening we attended. Atmosphere could have been slightly improved with a bit of background music, this is just a preference to myself

Been to the pub 2 days in a row for food verry welcoming portions are more than adequate real ales are better than some places i been the staff are warm and friendly very good evenings we have had not to mention the afternoon well done love the place we will be back

The menu and food were both fantastic! I would highly recommend the salt and pepper platter!

Really good staff, nice atmosphere, not too pricey, would of been 5 stars but the live music that was being performed made it quite hard to chat with the family at the table

Very very poor! We booked a table before hand due to the virus situation. On arrival, we were ignored several times by different staff members before finally being seated to our table. We had to wait a period of time before receiving a menu and being offered drinks. We were intimidated by the members of staff that repeatedly stared at us and whispered to each other. Very rude indeed! Therefore, we decided to leave after paying for our drinks as we are on holiday and wanted to enjoy a meal out in a comfortable environment with pleasant staff and good food. If you are planning on visiting the town, I would not recommend this pub! Avoid it at all costs.
