Artisan Cafe & Wine Bar in Blackburn with Darwen

My first visit and definitely not my last Sunday roast 2 coursesfood was well presented and was really good great value and the desert was also really good

We came across this place by chance, we were on our way to the kettle kitchen for some lunch but when we got there we were told there was no electricity so we left and saw artisan. The staff were very friendly and who I pressume is the owner was superb he was very chatty (in a nice way) and catered to all our needs, within 5 minutes of sitting down we had both hot and cold drinks. I had the fish and chips while my partner has the open steak sandwich, both were excellently presented and tasted even better. My personal favourite and the main reason I will be returning is the wide selection of tea. The only problem was the freezing cold bathroom.

Had a nice meal. I would recommend the homemade cheese and onion pie thrice cooked chips. The owner very helpful and polite

Went for Sunday lunch - wow !! 👌 amazing is all I can say ! Lovely place, warm and welcoming on a snowy Sunday. The food was absolutely delicious, high quality home cooked, gorgeous Yorkshire pudding, and perfectly cooked vegetables, the lamb was melt in the mouth ! My dessert of hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream was to die for ! Can highly recommend, don't know how they do it for the money even got a free shot of mulled wine at the end, will certainly be back.

We happened to have a child free couple of hours and usually nip to wetherspoons as you know it's a quick in and out job with half decent food. However we had noticed Artisan on a Facebook thread somewhere and noticed how reasonably priced it was and decided to give it a try.So glad we did as the food was superb. My partner had 2 starters, jalapeño bites with chicken wings and I had fish and chips. Honestly the best fish and chips I have ever tasted and my fellas still talking about the jalapeño bites haha. The guy who served us, I presume is the owner, as went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Which we did. Highly recommend this place. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The can't believe I didn't mention the cocktails.. Bang on!😁X

Awesome starter and main. Went on a Wednesday night we were the only people there. At 20:40 when we finished our mains, asked if we could order dessert then got told chef went home with no warning. Still had over an hour til closing time

Was there for a memorial celebration for a work colleague Craig Bentley Thank you Lovely staff very attentive excellent food great turnout thanks to his wife from all of us .
