Bridgewater Pub in Blackburn with Darwen

Lovely lady cara always making my experience at the Bridgewater very comfortable and so lovely I’m never waiting long for a drink always very police and nice.

Spent many happy time here lovely place to and enjoy your night with no trouble and that’s rare these days

I did once rate this a two star venue but have updated this 4 stars to reflect a few things. It's better during the day than at night on weekends, the food is better than it used to be and it's nice to have a free pint of ale for every 8 I buy (double stamps on Tuesdays as well).

Been going to the Bridgewater for many many years! I thinknits good how every so often they do a full renovation and its like you're in a different pub! It's brilliant how it has a dance floor that isn't too small. I mean, it coukd be bigger but then it would take up too much room in the day I'm guessing. Very very busy at the weekends, I used to go to thirsty Thursday there, obviously rather hungover the next day at work! Like j said, this was many years ago. I wanna say 15 years ago maybe a little less. But with £1 drinks who could complain! A large glass of wine was £2 haha! It used to get busy at the weekends then but its way more busy now than back then. They seem to have a good amount of staff on because you don't usually have to long to get a drink despite there being like 100 people at the bar at the same time! Most of the staff are very lovely and don't appear stressed even though there are so many people, they genuinely don't stop! Obviously there's the odd one that can be a bit rude and abrupt at times but they could have had a bad day and they are stress with the amount of people.its rare though.

Refused entry as I apparently fitted a description based on an earlier incident where a bald 50 odd year old put a window through at the millstone earlier in the night. However I was in the millstone pub when it occurred so knew what had happened. Clearly the door staff were told the incorrect information. But still prevented us entry and caused a scene when one of the party took issue with us being denied entry.

Nice pub but do you need to have the music this loud? Can I politely suggest that if you asked your customers most would prefer no music or at least to have it at background level.

Went in for some food and Jessica was exceptional went out of her way to make sure everything was okay, excellent manners made it a very enjoyable dining experience will definitely be going again

Love this place great atmosphere during the day and evening . The food is tasty . I love how it comes alive in there at night ,dance floor and music for all ages till early hrs 👌

Popped into here for something to eat and was not disappointed. They offer some pretty decent burger options but we saw that they did small tapas like menu items and decided to go for these. Best choice ever. All the dishes had big enough portions to satisfy 2 people, to be fair we did order 8 dishes so it would have been difficult to not have had enough food. We thoroughly enjoyed each of the dishes and will definitely be back again. Staff were really friendly also.

Had a breakfast here, eggs were over cooked, sausage were cold, toast was over done. The picture is the £10 breakfast. Waited a while for this so did not complain as I did not want to wait again.
