Very clean cafe food is top class if you are ever in darwen town centre and fancy a coffee or some lovely food then this is the place to go staff are really friendly as well I highly recommend this cafe

CJ’s is one of those cafés that is found in every town and most people gravitate to at some point. Generally speaking and to quote the 80s US sitcom pretty soon. (If you go there regularly) “everyone will know your name”.CJ’s provides a warm, and comfortable place to to go and the experience gets better the more frequently you use it and become familiar with it’s diverse clientele. I would seriously recommend visiting here particularly if you are new to the town, as very soon you would come to know people. However, remember that friendship and acceptance is a two way street, so you get out what you put in.

The reason I'm rating this cafe only 3 stars is because of the customers which choose to reside there. The food and the staff are good but there's certain customers that hang out there all day long. These people clearly have no jobs and fetch this little cafe down with them. They all sit outside smoking and then walk in smelling like ashtrays and speaking at the top of their voice to one another as though they're sat at home together. There's some right characters and it's like a northern version of the television soap Eastenders cafe scene. Go there if you want to feel better about your life.

This cafe is the hub of Albert square.... erm I mean darwen town...The patrons that sit inside and out are a friendly bunch, even when they are behaving like they are sat in the queen Victoria.The food is of good quality and the staff are a friendly lot.

I've been coming here for a good few years and always been happy with what I've ordered. Food is homemade and the soups are especially good. Staff are always friendly and if there's any problems, they're happy to help. Recommend to all .x.
