Craven Heifer in Blackburn with Darwen

Really good filling meal. Cumberland sausage for Toad in the hole with Mash, veg and gravy. My better half enjoyed her cheese and onion pie and sticky Toffee pudding too! Great service and super friendly staff. Thanks guys! UPDATE: Had fish and chips today and was a really great dinner!

I've been to the Heifer twice in the last 20 years.Once a few weeks ago and again yesterday.I agree with one tiny bit of what Philip Heys wrote, "the taller girl behind the bar sets the tone for the service.".Yes, she does, and it's excellent.Polite, welcoming, friendly, cheerful, she even remembered what food I'd ordered last time despite several weeks having passed and we had a laugh about it.Nice food,, good beer (although I was a bit disappointed there wasn't Wainwright's available) I must have been to a different pub than Phillip. 🙃

We were served by the tall Girl with the glasses this afternoon from around 13.30 onwards she was very friendly and approachable. I cannot understand how the previous comment could be so nasty we really cannot fault the service keep up the good work you are a asset to the Craven Heifer.

A real shame as I would love this place to br a massive success . Location great , food good but service not good at all . The taller girl with the glasses behind the bar sets the tone of the service and this is a really poor. Not customer focused at all

Had this at this place, was prawn and salmon salad.it was spoilt by too much rose marie sauce.
