Hungry Horse in Blackburn with Darwen

So place was great but few issues. Upon arrival looked very unkempt and no-one in reception had to ring a mobile number but was quick to attend. Only 1 usable plug socket in whole room so take extension lead. Hot tap didn't work unless it was put on full which my daughter found flooded the bathroom as couldn't turn it down quick enough.Staff were great room was very clean and comfortable.

Family gathering each ordering different dishes and all excellent. I especially enjoyed my green burger - yes it was totally green.The sharing dessert was enough for everyone, but my children weren't keen on sharing and ate most of it themselves.A clean, comfortable environment with friendly, helpful staff and great value for money. Ate here with a couple of the girls from work. The pub itself isn't to bad, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Just a shame about the food. We all ordered steak and we all regretted it. All three steaks were gristly and just not nice. After complaining we got a complimentary sharing dessert. Which was pretty good but doesn't quite make up for three rubbish steaks

This restaurant is appalling.Waited for one and half hours for a starter.Eventually got the main course instead.Awful service considering that we had our four and one year old with us.Brought the main and we refused it. They even tried to serve it again.Spoke with other people who were also disgusted with the service.One party waited for one hour for chicken and rice.Basically they said they were short staffed.Why have so many people in their restaurant if they can't copeNot happy

Decent food but a bit of a wait for Breakfast. Don't expect anything special just quality good got the price. Marked one star less as wait was too long.

Friendly helpful staff especially Jade and Beth. The food was good and very filling. Good value for money. Will definitely go again.

Staff lovely, food a bit basic deep fried! Tables could do with being stripped and re- varnish. Accommodation no frills but clean.

It's a good family eatery. Sometimes they may run of food but they do try there best. Reasonable prices good customer service.

Unfortunately, although the starter was lovely, the pie was so solid that the "Chef" should probably be in the building trade. We laughed because it nearly broke the plate trying to get inside it. Once inside the filling was okay. Mentioned it and was offered something else but we were full and fed up of the 300 TVs around the place. Nice staff though.
