Manchester Sweet Centre in Blackburn with Darwen

This place is famous for 2 meat 1 veg 1 kebab. i.e. the samosas with the translucent chutney with onions poured over is the one thing this place is well known for. You'll never see samosas fly out of a shop this fast! The Indian sweets are mediocre, there are better places in Blackburn to get these from. Word of warning the meat samosas can be hit and miss, if you have a weak stomach you may well be running off to the little boys/girls room not long after.

You want a tasty quick bite. You want a spice flavoured snack. You want the samosa's in Lancashire. This is the place. And for the sweet tooth person you also have a choice to cool off the palate.

Very nice and friendly staff and very clean and nice place. They serve from hot nan's and kabab to a wide variety of Pakistani sweets. Staff are always very nice and helpful. Best in town.

The place is primarily known for its samosa’s which aren’t bad. They’re definitely not the best you’ll find nowadays with the filling mainly consisting of marrowfat peas and some mince.The issue is everything else is subpar. I got some vegetable pakoras from there recently and they were almost all gram flour with hardly any vegetables in there. The texture was doughy as the centre hadn’t cooked through and gave me an upset stomach.The kebabs weren’t bad but very elasticy and chewy. A sign of finely minced poor quality meat.Overall everything shows signs of cost cutting which is a real shame as this place has been around for years and you’d expect customer service to be priority.The man who served me also had no idea what customer service was. I was the one saying please, thank you and good bye. He never said a word other than to take my order.

Samosas and kebabs are a must. Would say stay away from the mithai or jalebi. Best samosas and kebabs in blackburn by far.

Best fresh Samosa's, been eating them for last 30 years. Indian sweetmeats also very good and a varied selection.

This place has the best samosas, a very well known establishment in the heart of Whalley range blackburn. The preferred menu items are vegetable samosas, the milk pudding (ras malai). The chutney is something that nobody can replicate and the liquid gold receipe is something that only a few people know about. Try it but be prepared to wait as this place is busy no matter when you go.

Food is good but meat samosas are sometimes a hit and miss, lost one star mainly because of the smelly plates given when eating in on two recent occasions, probs just rush when washing up, please take account of this and sort it out as puts me off the food.

I have been visiting this place ever since I was a young lad for Samosa's and kebabs, and have yet to find another place that can make Samosa's as good as here.. Nobody can beat them on this front, especially their unique spicy sauce that you get with the Samosa's and kebabs. I can honestly say that for a no frills place like this it certainly exceeds all expectation - BELIEVE IT!
