Gradually service is worsening week by week. 40 minutes to get a latte!! Ridiculous. Queue piling up, people turning away from fear of being stuck in the queue. Drive thru had no exit slip lane incase you want to flee. Seem to be a lot of new staff, young, inexperienced and thrown into the deep end, with all yer mobile app ordering has made life hell for the workers and it's felt at the customer experience end. The amount of orders and drive thru excess is putting the staff under a lot of pressure and mistakes are being made, service is shocking. But after nearly an hour spent there the other night I will not be going to the Darwen Services one often. I'll avoid that one! It's just always too busy....(many months later....)Well, well, well. We see that they have indeed pulled their socks up and improved! Hats off to the so called inexperienced staff, for they seemed to have gained that so very vital experience they needed. Have visited many a time since the latte-based shenanigans of last time. It is now a professional experience. Them kids have done well and grown to become worthy crew members of the Golden M's.... Woo-woo-wiuoo-wit-wooo!! I'm loving it!!

Staff were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my big Mac meal and a toffee latte. It's part of the services so has plenty of parking. Would go back

This particular restaurant has gotten worse and worst as time goes on.I don't think I've ever once driven away from here without something missing from my order. And sauces are never in the bag. This is a basic cost cutter exercise knowing full well that a lot of people won't challenge it over a 99p burger here or a fries there. The management needs to get a grip!Would not recommend, at least for click'n'collect or drive thru or just eat.Always check your stuff before you leave!

**OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM DARWEN SERVICES MCDONALDS**First I went to ewood mcdonalds drive thru. I was in the drive thru for 20 minutes when I reached the window to pay. I said to the worker named Dominic "I've been waiting 20 minutes."His response was to shrug his shoulders and smirk and then say "what do you want me to do im going as fast as I can." I was absolutely gobsmacked that he couldn't even apologise for the 20 minite wait from ordering to getting to the window to pay!!! I asked to speak to the manager. He then came and I explained what had happened his name was Ben. He apologised and said they were short staffed and were going as fast as they could. At this point I refused my order as I wasn't paying to be treated like that!!I then went to mcdonalds at darwen services and wow from the offset what a difference!! I was only waiting for about 30 seconds to order my food and the lady named Ellie said "sorry for your wait can I take your order please."I went to the window to pay to be greeted with a smile and outstanding customer service. I then go to the next window to be greeted with another smile and again excellent customer service. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. I then called the manager over to compliment them on the customer service I had received.Let's be honest no one expects much from any mcdonalds but from driving a couple of minutes down the road to a differemt maccies the difference was unreal!!!!Well done to the staff at darwen services who even at 9pm in the evening can still smile and be polite with customers. I suggest the Ewood store take a leaf out of your book and give there staff the outstanding training that you have all clearly recieved and implement. If I was David Duncan I would personally be embarrassed to admit the Ewood store was mine. They need to sort there management and staff training because it is shocking. Get the managers from Darwen store to train ewood staff on customer service!!!

Tried to get breakfast - spent that long waiting to get served I grew more grey hair. Managed to get served bang on 11 to be told they stopped breakfast - despite queuing and waiting to get served for 10mins.

We arrived on a late Sunday afternoon and couldn't have the kids scream hunger any longer for their dinner. It wasn't a treat, just convenience and the kids will eat it all. My eldest will eat a Big Mac and the other week demolish 20 nuggets in record time. I opted for a toffee Latte and an apple pie but secretly I think the missus is trying to fatten me up, so I was also given a big Mac meal. We didn't wait long having ordered from the terminal but never saw our number in the order screens.I have to say it was pretty busy, drive thru and take out and a good number eating in. Clean and tidy too.Over joyed as you can get at a Maccys to receive hot food for a change. So we really enjoyed it. The missus paid, the kids ate everything and that in my book is a result.A good 5 star for a Mcdonald's although tempted to try the Chinese outlet if we venture this way again. The only disappointment to this service was the toilets in the main building. I didn't actually check to see if Maccys had their own. If you're standing up to pee it's tolerable, if you've a 3 year old daughter it's an absolute nightmare lying in waiting. What some people do in there is overly offensive. Scared for life, both myself and my daughter!

Missing food, condiments and straws for the drinks from delivery order. Called up to be told rather rudely its was nothing to do with them and to call uber eats for a refund even though it was their wrong doing... on top of that the food was stone cold when arrived!! Needless to sat we aren't happy with the staff or products this time round

Used for a quick hot drink via the in app ordering and the click and serve service (where your order is brought to your car). This is a great option to avoid all the hustle and bustle in store and service seemed to be fairly quick.Would most probably recomend... hot drinks are cheap and fairly reasonable quality and the click and serve option is a bonus.

Not personally a massive fan of burgers but the staff here excel. Friendly rapid service and food was quite tasty. Drive through was very well organized.

Absolutely disgusting, vile together with the Darwen Services McDonald's Staff, thats took over an hour to answer the phone and then proceeded to put the phone down on me. Food hygiene course need to be taken again together with retraining or unprofessional staff.
