Pausa Coffee Shop - Dunelm in Blackburn with Darwen

Ordered a chest of drawers online. Ready for collection very quickly. Unfortunately the matching bedside drawer cabinets were out of stock for miles around, but very luckily managed to get from a different company.

Excellent customer service from Danny at the Blackburn store yesterday who went above and beyond assisting me when I was returning faulty item and helping me to choose replacement.

Brilliant shop, Try to park in the proper Duelm Blackburn car park or else you will have to cross a busy junction.The Cafe upstairs is great, I suggest the Sicilian Lemon Cheesecake & Cappuccino.Great range of inexpensive good quality homewares in a lovely range of colours, I needed Blush pink and got it.Not to busy no big queues, came last time I was over there also and will probably come next time.

Went for a particular quilt set I'd seen online but they didn't stock it. Lots of quilt sets that made it hard to choose so I picked an Isle and said I would buy whichever was third one down 🤣. Also bought 4 quilted pillow covers. Staff very polite and approachable.

Great store but some staff need to be employed on commission only basis. Say they'll help and then disappear and don't even remember talking to you. Kept waiting for 20 minutes and then disappeared again. Left store without buying anything.

Went to Dunelm to get some thermal blackout blinds. Lots to choose from online so read the reviews and went for the best that way. If you want bedding, quilts, pillows, lights and kitchen stuff I would recommend having a look because they have a lot of selection. The best thing I saw was bathroom stuff like towels and mats!! They must have every colour you could think of!!One thing I would point out is the cafe which is why I've only give it 4 stars. I wanted a sausage bap but they only serve until dinner yet there was other hot stuff (which I didn't want) available. They need to keep things like that on all day ( not hard to make a sausage bap) then maybe they would make more money which is what e everything is about!!

The store appeared tired and glum, mirrored in the faces of its staff who also presented as disinterested and unmotivated. General presentation of goods was half-hearted, and we left with a sense of underwhelming, worth visiting if local or if ordering ahead from online.

Went to the Blackburn store on boxing day and it was pretty mad to say the least, however the staff were happy to help and cheery and chatty which was nice. The lady that helped me and my daughter seemed to be doing 10 jobs at once but still helped us a few times without even a sigh which is very refreshing. The que was long but went down quickly and another till was opened as soon as a member of staff became free and she apologised for keeping me waiting again she was lovely, chatty and helpful too.Some great offers on Christmas items and some good sale items too.

Went looking for new curtains wasn't disappointed with their choice of colours and stock will definitely return after I get my new carpet fitted . I liked these
