Food was average and a little expensive. Service was not very good. We had to ask 4 times for a missing drink from our order. When we chased a cake serving for the 2nd time they wanted to scan our receipt to see if we had actually ordered and paid it?Toilet facilities are very inadequate for the number of seated customers - 1 ladies and 1 gents. Outdoor toilets and not checked. Overflowing bins and broken seat.

Lovely little cafe. Welcoming staff. And dog friendly. We then went off on a local walk. Lovely area.

Attended the Christmas Elf Trail ans Christmas themed Applestore Cafe over the weekend. Only spent a couple of hours here but we had a great time. I had the full Breakfast on the menu and it was spot on. One of the best I've had! Fresh ingredients. Came with a lovely pot of tea too.Everyone on site was really pleasant and seemed happy to be there. Really well organised and all the stalls made it all feel very festive 🎅🏼 they had a Santa's Grotto so was great for the kids & mulled wine for the adults.Definitely be returning to Applestore Cafe in the new year.Cheers guys!

This is a gorgeous spot for breakfast, with really nice décor and toasty atmosphere. The vegan breakfast was hearty and they had vegan cakes too, although I was too full to try them. The grounds and shops are worth wandering too.

Very nice little cafe, beautifully situated in woodland with ample parking. The lunch menu was varied and the food was tasty. There was a nice, additional winter hot drinks menu. Pumpkin spiced latte and chocolate orange hot chocolate were enjoyed by 2 in our party. Dogs are very welcome and there are a few shops to browse on site too. Plenty of outdoor seating if thinking ahead to the warmer months. Would just like the menus to be tidier. They were very dog-eared on our table. Other than that, a most enjoyable afternoon and will be going back.

A lovely setting, with massive potential - and all in all a pleasant Sunday lunchtime snack. The green house/conservatory is beautiful, and there are seats and tables spaced attractively amongst the trees, But it was spoilt by the endless waiting for service, and the fact we had to ask twice or three times for things before they were brought to our table. The place is obviously understaffed and the staff stressed. Add to this the presentation of the food (cheese on toast for example, was basically a slice of toasted bread with cheese on top - where as other places charging similar amounts would aim at classy presentation and attractiveness), and things such as spillages on the floor by our table that remained there for the entire duration of the visit, the place is less than expected. So although I reckon this place is not quite the standard it aspires to, or that I would like for the money I paid, it is nevertheless worth a trip because of the setting.

One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long while. So good I forgot to take a picture! Locally sourced produce and you can really tell with the taste.

Very well organised and don't worry about the queue it goes down very quicklyLots of tables outside which meant we could enjoy the glorious weather, there's both full sun and shadeA reduced menu from what I could remember but there are sandwiches, wraps, more substantial meals like burgers and of course incredible cakesAfter the cafe part enjoy a little wander around the shops and spread a little love
