Wasn't for me. Have heard good things about the food, but the beer I tried was past its best and the interior tired and grubby. Not especially welcoming either for what that matters...so I didn't dine.

Standard green king food but still not bad. Nice warm friendly atmosphere

Great Wednesday night meal deal. 6pm-9pm a pint and pizza for £10! Pizzas are crispy based and full of flavour. Beer is Moorhouses, cider is Strongbow or Aspinalls. Lager is fizzy stuff! What's not to like? Well worth a visit.

Friendly welcome, nice pizza, dog friendly.Beware: Although we got to the pub by taxi the same firm (Metro) later drove off without reason when they met us for the return journey (different driver) and then the call centre explained that they didn't carry dogs, even though we'd been taken there by one of their drivers.Ended up walking back to our digs at dusk along narrow country lanes (no pavements) with Audi drivers doing 50 mph whizzing past. Eventually managed to thumb a lift. Not from an Audi driver.

Staff party held here. Excellent pizzas and garlic bread. Best pint of Moorhouses beer too.

Fabulously refurbished country pub which offers a great selection of cask and lagers .Their Gin collection is a must for any Gin fan and they have a wonderful choice of good wines. All complemented by a fantastic TAPAS menu ..... Perfect pub for socialising with a great atmosphere 😀

Stayed here for one night when we were attending a wedding in the area. The room was clean and the bedding and pillows obviously brand new. Very comfortable! Great value for money.
