Petroula was also very sweet and delivered the most beautiful cup cakes to my friend in Anula for her birthday, making sure they were safe and delivered into her hands. Lovely, lovely lady and such thorough service.

Had lunch here today whilst attending the brass band contest. Lovely tea and sandwiches and lots of other goodies on sale, sweets and toys. Enjoyed it.

My absolute favourite cafe in Darwen. I recently went for a cake and brew with my son. I had a delicious slice of hot homemade chocolate fudge cake with holdens ice cream. The staff were so obliging, helpful in every way, despite being obviously so busy, nothing was too much trouble. A little gem of a cafe.

I was waiting to be served and it took a while before I was served, These people have no idea if a slice of cake is suitable for vegetarian, I think its really abismal in this day and age when people have so many dietary requirements, I didn't expect her to have known from the top of her head but no effort was made in trying to find out or checking!! just looked at me when I asked her and said "I don't know"Please don't visit if you're vegetarian vegan or have allergies cause quite simply they haven't a clue to what they are serving.

Attended this cafe this afternoon and bought an americano and received half a cup of coffee, later on waiting for the Christmas light switch on I ordered a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows I received a cup of mucky looking water with cream and marshmallows not a hint of chocolate. I took this back and complained. After being told that nobody else had complained added some more chocolate mixture to the hot water. Still didn't taste any better but drank non the less as I was cold. My son in law joined me a little later and got a cup of tea, said it was really stewed and tasted disgusting. I never even told him how bad the hot chocolate was. I understand that it was busy but should be no excuse for really bad tasting beverages. Would not recommend this place and will avoid at all times.
