We went here for my daughters birthday meal . As soon as we walked in with my greeted by a lovely waitress. Then we orderd our food it didn't take long and it was so delicious. The place is so welcoming and the views from our tables were gorgeous. Highly recommended

Lovely pub/restaurant on the tops. Lovely views across the Moors, on a fine day. Decor lovely with friendly staff and a good selection of dishes on the menu. Prices are moderate. Car park available & outdoor tables - though these are right next to the road.

Slow service but pleasant and not a problem because we were out for a relaxed afternoon without any time pressures but had we not been, it would have been a bit frustrating. Food pleasant and priced about right for the quality and quantity. Stunning views, beautiful location.

Highly recommend. Very good food, always. Staff excellent. Squeezed us in even though we hadn't booked.

This is a fantastic restaurant that I would definitely recommend to friends and family alike. We went on a Friday tea time approximately 4:30. The service was excellent as it always is and there was a wide range of drinks on offer. I chose the wagu Toby burger for approximately Β£13. It was very succulent and came with a generous helping of chips plus a lovely coleslaw as well. My son had a margherita pizza which was also lovely. Will be returning as soon as possible

Brilliant service, I had the honey glazed skewered prawns to start & chicken kebab skewers for main. All fresh ingredients, good portion sizes & really friendly staff.Feta cheese & a lovely fresh yogurt dip with the kebab, simple but executed brilliantly.Prawns were sumptuous & well flavoured.I will definitely return to the Toby inn

Went to the Toby last night after recently moving to the area. Always been relatively local but hadn't been for a while. Fair to say it surpassed expectations! The starters and mains were absolutely superb. Great, diverse menu and we put it to the test but everyone throughly enjoyed their meals. Fair portions too. Friendly staff. Potential regular for me. Fantastic.Edit and moved from 5 to 3 stars:Got takeaway last weekend from here. Have to be honest, excellent food quality and best kebab I've had takeaway wise.Strange experience though - my advice is leave the big mouth chef in the kitchen, there's a reason he isn't front of house as he aggressively and rudely told me "don't worry about it" for asking how long my food would be, presumably trying to show off in front of the younger female staff. Sad act.

Set in quite a remote place but I imagine it would be beautiful in the summer. Very pretty, clean pub with restaurant area. Good, extensive menu. Service was excellent and the food was well prepared and tasty. Will go again.
