Nice place, friendly attentive staff and great food. Quiet, especially in the restaurant section when we visited which is ideal for a family meal.

Excellent attentive service. Staff helpful but not intrusive.Food of high quality with great flavours and good choice. We had the pork and the Hake. The Hake had a lovely texture and soft flavour.Accompanying veg and sauces tasty and varied.The desserts of Pineapple Crumble and Lemon Possett a perfect finish. Liked the twist on the crumble using pineapple and as a apple crumble person would find it a very difficult choice if offered both.Great atmosphere will definitely return.

We used to eat at the White Horse quite a lot before it shut down. I’ve been up a couple of times since it re-opened and it’s been great both times. Staff were amazing and the food even better. Love what the new chef has done with the menu. High quality, homemade meals which are packed with flavour. Can’t wait to go back.

Previous owner was beyond amazing. Since reopening we have had a welcoming arrival and "Daniel " on the waiting/food ordering staff is so lovely! Amy the manager is very professional and the bar staff are very lovely with a happy smile

Made two visits since reopening and have not been disappointed! Food is delicious (especially love the Sunday roast!) Staff are friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back ☺️

Visited a couple of times since reopening under new management and have been very impressed. The food in particular has been a highlight on both occasions. Will be back for sure!

The newly renovated White House looks fantastic, very in keeping with the building. Very friendly staff and great service. both me and my partner both had a starter and main, and can absolutely tell everything was cooked for scratch with fresh ingredients. Very generous portion sizes and exceptional value for the money. I’ll be back with friends

Our first visit and we were not disappointed. Superb selection of draft drinks, including a couple of tasty real ales. Great menu. Something for everyone. Our food was superb and served by friendly, efficient staff. Would highly recommend.

Visited a couple of days ago to see how it had changed.Verdict NOT MUCH.If 500k has gone on the restoration of the pub I'd love to know where the other 497k went.Not much difference to how it was last time.And when I say not much difference I mean it looks like they've varnished and painted and taken the fruit machines out.£6 for a medium wine £4.50 for a single vodka.Plus crisp and a diet coke coming upto 15 pound... No thanks.Won't rush back.

Friendly and attentive staff. Meal was lovely, especially the roast beef. My only critism was the pineapple crumble for desert, would have preferred apple.
