Firstly, the service was absolutely great. During the evening in the bar, the staff were wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. Again, the staff at breakfast were lovely.The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. Great value for money.Dinner in the evening was ok, just not amazing. the starter and dessert were great, but the mains (we both had chicken burger), were a bit dry. Like they’d been reheated or maybe stood waiting to be brought out. There was one main waiter looking after the whole bar, with the help of a female manager. They did the absolute best they could but it felt like they were a bit short staffed, which is no reflection on them at all. They were lovelyWe were only there one night but all in all, for the price we paid, I’d definitely stay there again.

Been before and had no complaints but the food I ordered this time wasn't the best. The chicken was well overdone and dry. Some of the roast potatoes were black and clearly should haven't been used. The meal should have come with a pig in blanket but had been missed. A friendly staff member did go and get one for me but I was a little shocked at how small it was! Absolutely no complaints about the staff, they're doing a great job. Food standard could be improved. I can see the owner has a standard response to contact and discuss. That isn't needed in this case. Just pay a little more attention to the quality and their would be no complaint 👍

Very enjoyable visit. Have no complaints about anything, staff food and room great. Jess deserves a pay rise or a bonus.she was on her own on Saturday morning breakfast, not stressed at all and always had a smile on her face despite been extremely busy.cant rate her enough! Would stay again x

Food was basic the Pepsi was awful all 5 tasted funny we complained told it was because it was sugar free which was not the reason at all we usually drink sugar free. The chips was the only tasty thing on the menu. My sandwich was lacking in flavour more bread then chicken not even a side salad all on small plates so my daughters food keep falling into the table. Don’t have any straws for the kids to use so large glass to drink from not exactly the best for a 4 year old.

Left standing waiting to be seated for a little too long. First choice of meal not available due to forthcoming menu change. Second choice of curry-no rice available!! but it we weren’t told about this straightaway so this most likely accounted for us waiting longer than I’d have expected for our meal to be served.Although it sounds like I have a lot of complaints please don’t think of them as actual complaints because on the whole our visit was good as depicted by the 4 star rating I’ve given

Staff were excellent. Food very good and considering it was Mother's Day and very busy did not have to wait too long for our food. The restaurant is also very clean.Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going again.

We stayed here for 2 nights (14th-16th Feb) as we had travelled from Wales for a family member's funeral. The room was lovely and clean with everything we needed provided. We arrived the day before the funeral and decided to have dinner in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and bubbly and showed us to our table swiftly! No waiting around. Our drinks arrived quickly and our food was brought to us in good time also. No complaints about the meals we chose. Delicious! We went back again for breakfast the next morning and then again for dinner in the evening. Each staff member was happy and genuinely seemed like they wanted to help as much as they could.

Amazing service from Laura! Kept our kids entertained through the boring parts such as ordering and waiting! Couldn’t do more for us … excellent service! Overall a great place to go and cheap and cheerful with amazing staff

lovely experience. room was lovely evening meal in restaurant was the best in ages. only disappointment was leaving room 11am we wasn't able to have any breakfast or even a tea, coffee. as we had no where else to go after our car had broken down

We visited to watch the drive in movie and a meal afterwards, everything about it was just perfect. The service from all the staff was incredibly helpful. They exceeded their role, they were chatty and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. The food was also amazing, we got 3 courses and it was all served fast and tasted great!. I will 100% be back. Thank you so much to all of the staff for making it so perfect for me and my family.
