I didn't actually have any food and going off previous reviews I'm glad I didn't but it was a hot day during my visit and I went in to get a bottle of water and a fanta. After waiting a bit of time I was served by a nice man who got my a bottle of water and the Fanta when he first tried making it I assume came out wrong due to the syrup running out so he took a while just connecting a new one and then filling a new cup up for me and then gave it me which was nice of him as I can imagine some people wouldn't bother. So conclusion time... If you are just wanting to get a drink then sure I'd recommend going here but basing my decision off previous reviews off what other people have said, if you are looking for food, I would say maybe choose one of the many other fish and chip shops around Blackpool as this one doesn't makes the cut although it sounds as if it has had good days but take that as you will and at your own risk of a potential bad or good experience.

Not suprised this is rated so low,Over priced, which wouldn't be so bad, if the portions matched the pricing but the portions are absolutely tiny and they are incredibly stingy with the gravy.Kids do eat free, yet u may be quizzed about child's age ( wouldn't even mind but my child is toddler and was still asked )Woman serving was extremely miserable alsoDefinitely would not return to this establishment.

We walked passed and saw the ad with spit-roast chicken so we ordered a half spit-roast chicken with chips for a quick lunch. The chicken came looks greasy outside and very dry inside! Then I went to counter to check with the cook and he said the chicken are pre cooked and he just deep fried it to crisp the skin. You can see from the photos how bad 👎 the chicken looks. HE SAID their chicken is kept around 2 days !!! The amount of oil on it would give anyone a heart attack ! Very disappointed to pay for such bad quality meal! The chips are OK and the slice of bread we ordered is sadNever to come back to such badly managed restaurant!

Wish I'd have read the reviews of this place before trying it out - as they're pretty accurate. It's a takeaway with seating inside - there's a line of tables (dirty and uncleared) with no condiments (but that could be because of the Covid situation) and meals are served in a box or tray. I opted for the Fishcakes and chips, which turned out to be a single fishcake - was well-made, with fluffy peppery fish and potato bits along with a parsley seasoning but sadly was undercooked: the centre was frozen solid (despite the outside being crispy hot. When I brought it back to the counter, the woman just took it back, spoke to the fryer who produced another one in the warmer and she silently made me up another tray and handed it to me (no apology, no salt/vinegar).The chips themselves aren't bad - hot and crispy - but not a great deal of them for what you pay.I found it overpriced, undercooked ...and heavily overwhelming. Despite it boasting a "five star fish quality award" (that must be for the cooked fish, but certainly not for customer service), I won't go back again.

We've been here a few times over the years and have always had really good food. Unfortunately however, last night I was absolutely awful. Literally the worst fish & chips I have ever had. I know it was the end of service, but that food should not have been sold. It was so greasy and old it made us all feel sick. None of us could eat much of it. Extremely disappointing.

Always visit this chippy when in Blackpool the fish is always lovely and the chips too. Yesterday I think it was the worst I ever had. Green chips, black chips portion sizes really varied in size! Please get back to how you used to be. Thanks

I'm not surprised this place has only a 2 star review, went in today and bought 2 small portions of chips, 1 small gravy, 1 small peas & 2 barms, £12! I'm not tight but Twelve pounds for 2 chip butties with peas and gravy is ridiculous. The price would have been justified if the food was of quality. The chips were very undercooked and greasy, the gravy was like treacle, the peas were ok (ish). very disappointed. I saw other people's meals after we sat down for ours, of fish and chips etc, and they all looked terrible. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save your money and go elsewhere. Staff weren't very polite either.

Chips were edible but the fish was dreadful, and not cheap either. Never had "dry" fish before... £1.90 for small fanta excessive too.
