Great, traditional style pub, reasonably priced drinks and great pub atmosphere. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Highly recommended!

A nice place to go for a beer and watch football. Food isn't the best except for the carvery on Sunday which is amazing. Toilet stinks but is clean

Went for the Sunday carvery. We weren't disappointed. It was lovely. The meat. Beef, turkey, gammon, and chicken, were cooked to perfection. Three courses £11. So very reasonable. Will definitely be going again

Pub is a little rough and ready. Don't be put off though. Staff very friendly, food really nice and cannot complain at £9 for a two course carvery.

We had a table booked here for Sunday carvery after reading good reviews however, upon arrival we decided not to stay. The pub appeared to us to be confused as to what it was trying to do, it's advertised as a family friendly pub restaurant and looks it from the outside, but inside was loud and full of people watching football in the same area you eat. Did not come across inviting or family friendly at all. The food did look and smell delicious but sadly just wasn't the place for us.

Nothing short of perfect. The carvery was delicious. So much choice and a twist to your normal vegetables.2 sorts of stuffing including apricot and sausage meat. The meat joints cooked to perfection.Such a welcoming atmosphere. Home from home. Our host Karen and indeed all the staff made our Sunday lunch experience extremely enjoyable. As a retired qualified chef the food we had was restaurant quality. Well done chef.We will return. Now our no 1 choice for Sunday lunch.Congratulations on providing an excellent service.H

Fantastic atmosphere. Saw the Blackpool game there. It was amazing. Very friendly. The staff were overworked by the large crowd but were always friendly and attentive 10/10 for them. Beer prices weren't too bad. We were drinking Stella. I can't remember swearing at the prices.

Great pub, lovely owners and staff. Had a lovely Sunday Roast, 3 meats, 3 types of potatoes, 2 types of stuffing, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire's, 4 types of veg, gravy and sauces, not forgetting the lovely home made soup to start. All served piping hot and very presentable. Could not fault it.Have popped back in for the lunch time special (over 60s) 2 coarses for £4.95 what's not to like, the sausage and mash was really really good with ice cream to follow.Wish we lived nearby as I would make this lovely pub my local.
