Cafe Chicco on the Prom in Blackpool

Avoid! Easily the worse food we’ve ever had at a cafe. Baked potatoes were not cooked and were crunchy, the side salad had brown lettuce.when ordering pancakes we were told they are shop bought so opted for cake instead which was clearly old, stale and dry. Truly aweful.

It's OK here, no particular complaints about the food or drink, however they do not take cash (even in the age of Covid) and point you to their £1.99 per transaction cash machine outside the front door once you've ordered. It can make a coffee and cake quite expensive with this added: about £8.50. You can take a dog in there, but there are other dog-friendly cafes in Blackpool which are better, friendlier, and cheaper. Upside Down and Caffè Nero to name 2 of those I visited also.

Really great little coffee shop and cafe right opposite central pier and close to Madam TussaudsPrices are fab, and even better the staff are so friendly tooThere is seating inside for the wet or cold days but you can also sit outside (there are lots of seats) where you get a great sea view and all the fun happening on central pierI had a bacon balm (or a bacon butty/sandwich as we say it in Yorkshire!) and a Mocha and both were great! There was no skimping on the bacon it was stuffed with it! The mocha also came with a fab topping of whipped cream - delicious! If you’re in or around Blackpool Prom then nip in and have a relax for a bit - it’s great!

Not bad for being right in the front and dog friendly better iced latte then Starbucks shame about the wait for a simple salad

Had two jacket spuds, a tea and a coffee which were lovely. However a lack of provision of toilet facilities for a business profiting of the sale of food and drink was in my view inadequate. That's why I give 3 stars. However a no toilet facilities sign was on show on entry to the premises.

Illegally operating as refused access to a toilet. We stopped for about an hour for a few drinks. Another customer who had a child with autism also needed toilet facilities but they refused and also refused to get the manager. Absolutely disgraceful. Don’t give them your money.Official complaint will be submitted to the authorities.

Had breakfast here the other day. Family of 7. Reasonable price for good food and coffee. The staff were super friendly and was impressed with how dog friendly it was. We sat outside in the sun. Very impressed

AVOID this place at peak times! One person serving and a huge queue. Quite alot of people gave up waiting eventually. Considering this is on the promenade you think they would be better staffed. 2 stars for the good (not amazing) food.

Ultra dog-friendly cafe. All well-behaved dogs welcome inside. They even have a doggy food menu to order a meal for the furry member of the family. Good selection of food with reasonable pricing given the fantastic location (opposite the central pier) Next to an incredibly good value shoe shop. I went to use the cafe toilet in the adjacent shop and bought a pair of slippers for ÂŁ6.99.
