Cafe Sunam in Blackpool

Great food and service.I always believe if your goingbtona restaurant you want the best so I always pick the house special or the signature dish and the Sunam didn't let me down. Chicken was soft and tender and very tasty.

Went on the mid week 4 course special for £16.95. Excellent meal with no compromise on quality or quantities Service was very attentive and we both throughly enjoyed our experience at the Sunam.

Not Impressed with this Restaurant.Looking for a sit in restaurant came across this place.OrderedMix starterMainButter chickenLamb karahiNaanMix starter was very small only for one person.Butter chicken was filled with sugar way too sweet I have ate butter chicken at many establishment's and this was the worst.Lamb karahi had too much garlic and wasn't very tasty.Naan was good.Wait time for bill was 10min.Overall not the best experience but I hope this helps to better your food and serviceThank you

This is best place to taste Indian food in Blackpool. Restaurant owner is too generous to surprise me with an additional food which is my daughter's favourite (Papad and a butter Naan) in the takeaway parcel. Chicken 65 and Lamb are very good too. I would definitely visit this restaurant again on my next visit to Blackpool. Thanks Sunam.

Excellent service from start to finish. Food was delicious and hot and great portion sizes. Lovely staff too, will be going again soon.

Food was not up to standard, very disappointed. Food was bland, watery & the meat was very hard. Do not recommend I have never eaten such food in my life. Eat at own your own risk.

Great people, always warm and welcoming. The booths provide a nice degree of added cosiness and privacy. Food quality can be a little inconsistent, which I assume reflects a frequent change in chefs. When it's on point, it's good, but be aware that it can sometimes be a gamble. It's never bad, but over the years I've had a decidedly mixed experience overall.

Usually good, bit sub-par this time.I'd placed a reservation for a large group but when we showed up they were unprepared and hastily shifted tables around to get us organised.For starters we just stuck to poppadums, and their spice tray had some good strong flavours in it. For the main I opted for a chicken madras which was spicy but lacked anything else other than chicken - I was expecting onions, peppers but it was otherwise bland (I should have stuck to a Jal Frezie, which I normally have).I also had a veg fried rice on the side which I found quite oily, rich in ghee - next time I'll stick to ordinary pilau or boiled rice.A dining colleague had chicken tikka, a sizzling platter that looked and smelled good. Another had a tandoori chicken, a good dark rich red colour and I had a taste - crispy and dry, I would have liked that also!

The food was super delicious except mabey a little to much oil but I can't complain. The wait was decent and the service is great.
