"A pub at the heart of the community and proud of our heritage. A quick catch up over a drink with family and friends, or catching all of the live action with our great sports viewing. There is always something going on in your local pub with a great atmosphere and value for money."

Cheerful enough place, clean enough and friendly enough. Prices don't hurt your pocket either, so would visit again. For an hour or so but probably not more than that. Not an offensive place but not a wow factor kinda place. Is what it is!

Nice enough. Cheap and cheerful. Disabled toilets/baby change are filthy tho which seems to be the case in so many places. Food was nice, drinks were good and service was great. Would definitely visit again.

Been here before for cocktails. Good atmosphere, staff always friendly. This time ordered food, came promptly and was delicious, both ordered steak and chips 1 with all the trimmings and peppercorn sauce the other just steak and chips. Definitely visit again. 😁

I would recommend eating here to anyone. The seniors two course meal was £3.99 and was delicious. The portions were ample for a smaller appetite and served in an attractive wayThe place was very clean and the staff attentive. We will definitely be eating there again soon

The brief interactions we had with staff were nice, they all seemed pleasant and friendly.Ordering was done via the Greene King app, which was ok.Facilities were as you would expect and it takes approximately 3 weeks to climb all the stairs to find the toilets which were, again, fairly standard. The food was ok, the kids meal was decent value, the starter was overpriced (nachos) but tasted ok. The main was disappointing, smaller than average portion size with quite a small and relatively tasteless fish, although the batter was nice.Mixed bag, not the best, not the worst.

Had a little wait to be seen at the door but this was down to them being under staffed. But once sat down the staff were marvelous, chatted with us had a laugh with us so cant fault the service. Meal oh wow best pie had in a long time, ordered garlic bread as expected a small portion and was a large portion well worth the £££.
