Frying Squad in Blackpool

Popped in today for a quick chips n curry sauce. It took 10 minutes and the place was empty. This is a chip shop, why don’t they have chips ready?? and they’d been fried and left to go hard in the chip dump, then refried when I ordered them. I watched the counter guy do it. Absolute disgrace and should not be serving fish n chips to the public.

Me and my partner went in there on the 15th May 2022. I had Pie and chips and it was fantastic best I've had in a long time. My partner had Cod and chip it look fresh and my partner said it was lush. The member of staff you had working that night was very helpful and polite with it. So I'd like to say a big thank you from Martin & Matt

Absolutely shocking, far from traditional, the chips are frozen I saw them being pourd out of a bag as I left, which for me I want a decent chippy for proper cooked chippy chips, and to pay £3 plus for a large chips (frozen) to come in a small tray I have no words, the fish was soggy no crispness to the batter at all which I also think was frozen and I think the smallest fish I have ever see, safe to say I won't be going back as I know there are far better paces around, don't waste your money there's plenty just a short walk away

Disappointed with the prices for such a modest diner where you eat from polystyrene with a plastic fork and paper cup.Both the fish and chips were very bland and i certainly wont return.

Called in Thursday evening & ordered 1 Large fish & chips & 1 small fish & chips to eat inBoth were good size portions. The Cod was lovely, fresh & thick. The batter was nice & crispy. We also thought the chip had a lovely bite to them, quite rare nowadays.We wouldn't hesitate to call again when next in Blackpool.

Was around blackpool one sat afternoon and popped in for fish and chips!! Was best I had tasted for a long time 26 02 2022 bang on !!!!

Fish was good but the chips were mid and looked frozen.

The absolute worst fish and chips in Blackpool, most places around here are overpriced due to location so i wont judge them for that, but this is the absolute worst fish and chips going, fish was dry and stringy and really small size and the chips just didn't taste right atall service was fine but could of been better. its obvious due to its location you just cater to people to drunk to taste anything. complete let down do not eat here

Great fasr & efficient service with great food, I ordered just chips but chloe was polite & had a great friendly attitude. It was quiet at the time in the area so didn't have to wait long.
