Halfway House in Blackpool

Great environment and service however we ordered 10 meals and 4 were wrong. Food was delicious when 2 of the 4 wrong meals were corrected.

I’m not one to moan but just had the toughest steak ever tonight. I paid extra for a pepper sauce which we couldn’t distinguish between that and the gravy my wife ordered with a cheese and onion pie which she said was great . I ate it only because I was starving and couldn’t be bothered to send it back and wait for another meal . I told the waitress when she cleared the table who said. ‘We have had numerous complaints about it and they should have pulled it ‘So it’s pub grub only at the half way as they obviously don’t listen to anyone and don’t give a toss

Lovely place to eat lunch or just have a drink. The Halfway House has a friendly atmosphere, plenty of comfortable seating and cosy nooks by a couple of log burners. We found the staff to be very nice staff and helpful. It is also clean and well cared for. The service was just right. The food prices were reasonable and the portions were good, I would recommend.

What a great place. Good food. Good staff. Good place to eat. Weather was wild outside but welcome was warm inside. Well done half way house team. We will make the journey from Scotland again! 👍😎

Popped in for lunch with some friends. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere, very relaxing. Had steak baguette which was really good. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Went for lunch with a friend and can honestly say I wasn't disappointed, from the minute we walked through the door we were impressed. Greeted with a lovely smile, the place itself was lovely fresh and clean, lots of sanitizer dotted around and tables spread out perfectly. The food was fantastic too and at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be back. 😀

First time in for ages, really happy with our experience. Service and staff were all very friendly and professional. Menu had a large choice, the food was excellent. You can always tell a well run pub when you can see how clean the toilets are. Would highly recommend

Very good food and plenty of choices. Staff very friendly. Drinks reasonable and many choices, nicely decorated for Christmas. Lots of space between tables. Need to remember if in a car to register number at bar, or you could be fined for parking illegally. Highly recommend

We were staying at the Airport Premiere Inn. The attached Hungry Horse couldn't accommodate us for dinner so we tried the Halfway House a short distance down the road. It is a Holts pub restaurant and proved to be a better choice than the Air Balloon. The food was nicely cooked and presented. And we had a good experience. We often use the Premiere Inn when visiting Blackpool and will eat at the Halfway House when we visit again.

Went here on the 17.8.21 with my family 14 of us adults and kids soon as we arrived we felt very welcomed by all the staff got a table straight away no waiting around ordered with in 15 minutes the hall table got there food everything look mouth watering and cooked perfect everyone said there's dish tasted really nice will be definitely returning for more food next visit to Blackpool
