Kings Chef 88 in Blackpool

My food was well over an hour late in top of 1 hour waiting time. It was luke warm and decidedly unpleasant.When I told delivery driver it was really late, he was very unbothethered. The restaurant refused any refund for the really long wait.I personally would avoid this place like the plague

Terrible food. You only need to look at the filthy place to see it deserves the 1 star hygiene rating.

Received a flyer months ago through my door .I thought I'd give a try. I can say the few times I've ordered fantastic, fresh hot cruncy tastiest Chinese I've ever had thank you .

This is my favourite chippy. The staff are so lovely and the food is always delicious. X

Well first time ordering here and never again apparently the lady answers calls can't take a proper order my husband food arrived but mine didn't after waiting 50mins and when called back to be told I'd be waiting another 35/45mins for them to send my order wasn't impressed if the lady can't understand or take a order then shouldn't be answering phones

Where to start.I went the first time was alright chips was a bit hard.The second time was a joke i was paying by card and they said they didnt accept card. I thought thats fine then. Went on just eat thinking id be able to just collect it. Nope wanted me to spend 11 quid and 3 quid to deliver to the flats at the side of the chippy, im sorry but thats just a rip off.Will not be going again

I ordered the crispy shredded chicken, egg fried rice, seaweed and salt and pepper ribs. The food except the ribs was actually quite nice. The ribs however were battered (which was not stated on the menu) tough as old boots and inedible for me. I thought I would strip them of the meat and feed the meat to my dogs but there was very little meat on the ribs (some I could not get any meat from) and I struggled to get the meat off the ribs because it was so tough! I recommend everything else but if u like nice fall off the bone ribs, this is not the place for u.

Orderd a chow mein mix meat and I've never known anything so salty in all my life. The meat tastes old and the chef mixed it with his feet! How can anyone give this place a 5 star review clearly have the pallet of a cows backside.

I will firstly say i can not rate there food as it never arrived so this is based purely on my service experience with this restaurant. I placed an order with King chef online and was give an delivery time of 60mins which i didn't mind as it was a Friday night, however after an hour and a half of waiting nothing had a arrived and we had no contact from the restaurant to say there would be a delay. Upon calling to find out what was going on i was informed that there had been busier than they had expected and that the order would be about another half an hour but they assured me that the food would get to us. We had asked if it would be possible to cancel the order as given the extra waiting time it would be 10pm before anything arrived, to which i was informed that as i ordered online i would have to cancel that way as they can not and will only stop an order when they receive the information that it has been cancelled so i said we would just leave the order as is. Another hour goes by after this phone call and still nothing has arrived and we have heard nothing form the restaurant, i requested a text update on my order and was told that the order was on its way and would be with me by 10.40. So i continued to wait to then receive a text at 11pm to say the restaurant had now CANCELLED my order. After 3 hours of waiting and been told they can not cancel online orders i was not very happy with this. The communication and service from this restaurant is terrible and they clearly lack any skills for planning or preparation. I will be staying far far away from this place.
