Mr Chippy in Blackpool

This has to be the BEST fish and chips I have ever had! Cooked fresh in front of you, the portion sizes are great even the kids meal, value for money, room to sit and eat inside, the lady running the place was pleasant. Overall i would travel from Manchester to Blackpool just for this food. 5*

came here tonight, desperate for food as all the others were packed! waited 15 minutes, miserable man behind the counter. serving the food and the burger I had wasn't cooked and cold! id rather starve next time, than come here!

Incompetent staff, had us hanging about like idiots waiting for our order they never put through. The staff member acted as though we hadn't ordered anything. Food was stale and undercooked as well , won't be back.

Very clean, reasonably priced. I wasn't fully hungry so ordered childs fish and chips with no such as a no. Fab thank you.

Absolutely disgusting!!!!! Rude, arrogant and extremely unhelpful staff. Attitude towards customers definitely needs touching up, a customer skills course could possibly help the members of staff that were serving on the evening of 29th August. There were no closing times displayed anywhere, on the outside at least. When trying to place our order we were told rather abruptly the menu was very limited to nuggets, fish and chips. Gave us less food than we had asked for then we realised that we had been charged for 2 full meals rather than just a portion of nuggets which they refused to listen to, just walking away when we were trying to explain. I purchased a tomato sauce for my son which I had literally thrown at me across the counter by the young boy. The chips were awful and tasted like they were from yesterday. All in all this was NOT a good experience and I would not recommend this chippy to anybody. This really needs sorting out, not acceptable in this day and age but the problem is that people will pay these prices and often accept this service simply because of where they are and because their children are hungry. The owners get the custom anyway because people need to eat so why sort the problem and the workers do not care about complaints because they quite clearly do not like the job which I sympathise with but there are ways around that without letting personal morals slip and treat people the way they do. I do not often give negative reviews on here but out of all the places I have been, this by far the worst experience of customer service I have EVER received and witnessed.

Had a lovely lunch at Mr Chippy, the fish was cooked from fresh and chips just as they should. The kids enjoyed the jumbo sausage and chip. Would recommend.

To say we're trying to get out of a pandemic and should be hot on hygiene we were really shocked when the man serving today (alone) cleaned the tables then proceeded to pick up with his hands our sausages and fish! We asked for our money back there and then! We had waited half an hour at this point to get served and was waiting for the food. Very bad!!

Found this place just by chance as we decided to walk further up. Food was nice service was fine. Glad we got there when we did as it got really busy so seems a popular place prices what you would expect for area

Go here often when visiting blackpool... they always make fresh fish and chips love, there can be a slight wait but that all depends on the time of year or day you go... but it's okay having a slight wait if the food is fresh and hot...They charge 20p for the sauces which isn't alot... they only do cash payments which is slightly a downside as not everyone carries around cash nowadays...They have parking on the road which is paid parking but it's hard to find a spot when it's peak season...This place serve some halal options on their menu which is a bonus but you would need to still ask and verify the options available...The slight downside is that the portion sizes are rather small for the price your paying and would be good if they gave a free sauce sachet and the rest bought...The seating is very minimal which isn't the best during peak as your stood around waiting for a seat...
