Went to Lytham St Anne's (8.1.22) with the sis to scatter our fathers ashes in the sea so he was near mum we scattered the year previous. We were going to go straight home but decided to have a random trip to Blackpool so we could go to Pablos (I used to take the sister and my boys all the time when younger for a plate of chips and a qarm after walking all over blackpool). We got to pablos to see a sign cash only (card machine playing up) we didn't have enough money for what we wanted. The lovely lady said what do you want and how much have you got. She excepted our money and we got chips & gravy, chips, peas & gravy, a coke and a coffee. It was well worth the detour. It was lovely. Thank you to the lady for her kind generosity it was much appreciated on emotional trip. We will call again with the right money..Great staff, service and food. Place was very clean and tidy. We'll worth a visit, even if looking for a takeout.

Great quality fish and chips , been coming here many years on our trip to the seafront. It's not the cheapest but the fish is always spot on.Curry is nice peas are good chips decentService is great . Prices a little higher than away from seafront but the quality makes up for that.Fish is always made fresh to order (worth waiting for )

It was later, well after 6, so they didn't have quite a few things on the menu. Not their fault, we were second to last customers I'd say. What they did have was excellent. Chips were lovely. Fish cooked perfectly tender and not dry at all, and the batter they used was very light almost like a tempura batter. Curry sauce was nice, little bit of heat but suitable for everyone. I finished everything on my plate which is a novelty for me! Staff were good and seemed like a friendly place. Wouldn't have been a trip to Blackpool without fish and chips and Would definitely go back if I'm in Blackpool again. Highly recommended

Nobody likes to be down on hospitality at this time but then nobody likes to be ripped off either. Waited 40 minutes in an almost empty restaurant for a tiny portion of chips and fish which was swimming in grease. Watery gravy, nothing had any flavour despite allegedly having salt and vinegar, ridiculously overcharged for this at 10.25 each with a barmcake, to takeaway. Been travelling from Manchester for years for a walk and this chippy, needles to say we won't ever be back. Thanks for the extra fish you accidentally put in though, couldn't even ger the order right.

Maybe we went in after a busy period (Friday at about 7 in the evening) but every free table needed to be cleared. While waiting to order, there were at least 2 members of staff standing doing nothing. A table was cleared and our food arrived, fairly average fish, chips were good, mushy peas and curry sauce also quite good. Average experience, recommended if all other fish and chip outlets are closed.

Great staff, service with a smile. The special for 10.99 was worth it, you get fish and chips with a side sauce and bread with butter and a drink. On the day we went we got a bun with butter. Crispy fish, not too greasy. Lovely chips and the curry sauce is out of this world.

The food looked inviting. Chips were ok. Fish wasn’t good, once cutting into it oil started dripping out of the batter. Ended up picking the fish and leaving majority of the batter which was super greasy. Big portions. £10 for a large fish + chips + gravy.

Massively overpriced for what you get and tbh not the best either, food was cold, only went as we were starving, we paid £20 for a poor meal, at a very very large push your looking at £10 at the most for that in any other Chippy, wasn’t even a full portion either, only reason I’ve gave 2* is the young lady taking orders was pleasant, rest of the staff looked bored and didn’t want to be there

Best chippy in Blackpool! The prices are really reasonable and the food was tasty. The lad serving us was friendly and helpful, and the whole place generally felt very comfy - would definitely return!

Lovely fresh fish and chips. Didn't have to wait too long for them either. 2 slices of bread and butter was a bonus. Recommended :)
