Absolute shambles.i took my mate for first time in afternoon.we ordered burger and mac n cheese, these meals come with a soft drink as stated on the menu. My friend forgot to order drinks and wasn't asked if he would like one.so went to bar and said could we have drinks please.where I was told no you will have to pay for them separately full price. Even though clearly states including soft drink or little extra for a coke.i was firmly told I could not have a drink with my meal.asked to c manager where I was told that we hadn't ordered correctly. So it was our fault. Also was then insulted by staff and aggressively told nobody like you in here any way!I was utterly fuming at the way we were treated. Will be writing to Brewery.

Traditional pub with friendly staff and customers. Down for my brother's funeral and i can understand why this pub was a favourite of his. Good beers including cask and very good quality food and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit and if i am in the area i will certainly pay a visit.

Lovely staff and a great selection of drinks. Really nice beer garden too

Good service, a good pint and able to get a glass with a handle on. All I could personally wish for and a place I always try to get to when I'm at that end of town.

Visited The Saddle Inn lastnight and had a great night. New manager Sue was very accommodating and friendly as were all her staff. When we got there it was heaving and its obvious why. Great atmosphere and great service! It's a proper pub 👌 nice spacious garden out back also. Will 100% be back.

Visited this weekend. Lovely old pub which makes a change from the usual modern ones these days with no character. Obviously a drinkers pub with lots of regulars. Staff friendly and new manager seems great . Food good. Will certainly visit again.

Great people here. Very welcoming food is good. Kids welcome until 9pm. This has become our new local pub.

Great food..served hot always..great staff very friendly and the tables are always clean..get great real ales there and it's gin month at the minute...good outside area..football on tv screens or cricket etc..Good smoking area.Give it a try I have been going for years!.
