The Akash in Blackpool

Gorgeous food. The staff are very polite and helpful.The owner was very chatty and friendly Couldn't do enough for us. The chicken korma is superb as is the chicken tikka masala and chicken bhuna, big portions.There are stairs to the restaurant and stairs to access the toilet but don't let that stop you, our friend has to use crutches to walk and managed them OK. Will definitely be returning soon.

Great flavours. Definitely come back here. Very light and tasty peshwari naan and full flavoured chicken karahi.

Been here before and it wasn't the same experience food seemed rushed, staff wasn't as attentive as last time. But all in all meal was lovely I would probably come back if ever back in blackpool

Starter and poppadoms were OK, the main course however was not cooked correctly over flavoured and clearly had frozen bagged vegetables in it.The sauces and onions for the poppadoms had a slight odd smell to them.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The property was posted on gourmet society that offers 25% off every day, but when we arrived they told us that unfortunately they don't do on Saturday though they say different on gourmet society. The food we ordered was very nice, pleasent texture great fresh meat. Only small complaint i can have is that i asked my dish "not to hot please" , and i got a very very hot dish. Most probably the waiter missunderstood me for "very hot please". But they also offered complementary drinks on the house , so very nice of them.

Absolutely amazing food from this place!! I was a little worried ordering so late at night and so close to there closing time as most places give you the leftovers this was certainly not the case with this establishment everything was cooked to perfection and cooked fresh would definitely recommend and will definitely be back the man on the bar 5is a massive credit to your establishment (5)***** service throughout

We visited this restaurant as a family of 2 adults and 3 children. The place is small, but is extremely well run with hard working and friendly staff who are more than happy to make your visit enjoyable. The food was tasty and plentiful and a warm atmosphere. When next in Blackpool we will definitely pop in again.

Don't be fooled by the outside appearance of the restaurant. The food was amazing. The chicken was cooked on skewers to perfection before being added to the delicious sauce. Could not rate it well enough.

Superb service and very good food thank you, the vegetarian Vindaloo and sag paneer were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the left overs the next day. Am I the only one whole loves cold curry? This is a well established business and was recommended by mine host George, from the Albert Hotel, who incidentally runs a real ale bar.Must return to the Akash too, thanks 😊😋

Nice place. Decent but not very very good looking. But the food and staff are great. The staff are really helpful and cheerful. The menu is good and the prices are pretty reasonable. Would love to visit this place again for sure.
