The Devonshire Arms in Blackpool

Booked a table yesterday for tea requesting table by window as visually impaired got seated ordered food wait time was an hour just for starter to come out garlic bread with cheese was nice wasn't very busy with dinners but busy with football on and drinkers waited a long time for mains wasn't great and mine was nothing like hunters chicken but I ate it as was hungry want be ordering that again server was really good my husband explained I was blind when she went to pass me plate she went out of her way to help me after knowing passing me cutlery and talking to me as she did can't fault the service but wait time was long not good kids meal took over an hour to come out overall was OK but the kitchen staff need to sort themselves

Nice pub, friendly staff and the Beef Ale Pie was really tasty.

Sunday 6th Feb .. Just had tea at the Devi haven't been for a good while but and never had a bad meal but have to say today the meals were truly excellent .. and pleasant staff.. compliments to the chef .. thanks . See you again soon

We ordered a well done sizzling steak but after not getting it served to our table until 35 minutes(never told there was such a long a time wait) after ordering we asked for it putting in a take away carton when we got home it was un eatable just one thick lump and dripping blood from it we did try ring them but unable to take our call at least the dog enjoyed it

Absolutely ruined our atmosphere by a lady who had her head on the table for at least 45 mins before her companions decided to ring for an ambulance.. Ours was a party of 10 with children, so it was difficult to leave and sort food out as we'd arranged the evening.

Attentive pleasant staff. Nice dining room. Quick service. Very fatty grizzly steak that was impossible to eat. Great, massive deserts.

Went here a couple of times last summer when visiting family in the area.... ate outside both times because they where both glorious days so i can't comment on the inside.. However they have a great menu and your food arrives quickly...

Really nice pub, friendly staff, plenty of choice in meals, very nice and loads on your plate. Bargain cocktails 2 for £6.50. Would definitely recommend

Why has this place only got 4.1 ?????? ...... 99% of pubs cannot do a rare steak or fry an egg... This place nailed it... the chef well this chef can cook and that's a novelty believe me .. .... On top of that the cleaner needs a mention it's spotless absolutely spotless ..The service was superb ..we were late due to a taxi and they could not do enough ...we will be back with friends and family and spreading the word
