The Gurkha Restaurant Blackpool in Blackpool

Great place, didn't manage to give you'se a comment about eating at The Gurkha,but home now & time to recollect.. Thank you for a lovely eating experience for me,my partner and our two boys. My son was brave enough to try the Gurkha lamb curry 🌶️🌶️🌶️, he had to have a few cokes afterwards though 😁 . Will see you again next time we are there. Great staff,great food,pristine condition. 👏👏👏ps.£70-£80 was for the 4of us with drinks 👍

I highly recommend this restaurant. Lovely delicious buffet ranging from Indian, Thai, Chinese and Nepalese with wide range of desserts. The ambient of the restaurant is clean and therapeutic. And, Mr Gurung, manager & his team were very hospitable. I would definitely visit again.

Although the food was tasty and the restaurant was clean and atmospheric, there were only a small selection of meals to choose from. The sweets were bland and the salad bar left a lot to be desired. Along with this, the staff were constantly hovering and I felt like they were trying to rush us. One of the staff members even came to sweep under our table even though we had only been there for 50 minutes. Although I had heard numerous good reviews from friends and workmates, I have to admit that I left feeling slightly underwhelmed and I won't be returning.

This was my first visit to the Gurkha Bar.I'd booked a table for my wife and I online but went there a day early by mistake but the lady behind the desk found us a nice table and was very friendly and welcoming.The food was lovely, staff were friendly and as soon as our plates were empty it was whisked away by staff.I've been to many Buffet restaurants in the past who give quantity rather than quality but I can honestly say the Gurkha Bar on Waterloo Road in Blackpool is definitely the opposite.Great value for money and highly recommended.

I love this buffet restaurant. It has Indian, Chinese and Thai dishes which are all really good quality for a buffet. The restaurant is popular so food is replaced quickly and therefore is usually fresh and hot. The range of puddings (cakes, ice cream, fruit and jelly etc.) is also a nice touch. For £14 this unlimited buffet is great value and the staff are pleasant and attentive. The gurkha beer is an excellent accompaniment to the food on offer. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little buffet. Me and my partner enjoyed our meal immensely, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We only wish we had booked to stay in your hotel, as the one we booked was awful, and we're sure given the cleanliness of the restaurant and hospitality of the staff, it would have been a lovely place to stay. We would visit again when we visit Blackpool. Thanks guys.

I love this place. It's so different to other buffets. It hasn't got the frantic hustle and bustle of the other places. The selection of food is fantastic from mild to spicy hot and a great variety of meat, vegetable and fish dishes. The staff are excellent - really friendly and helpful and quick to replenish drinks and take away used plates. There's also a nice little Gurkha museum. Try it, you won't regret it.
