The Top Chippy in Blackpool

As a local ( I live 30seconds away) we don't eat here, not that the foods that bad, but this is a tourists chippy so expect moody unfriendly teenage staff who couldn't careless, no greeting when walking through the door and small portions for high prices. Test it for yourself order a small, medium and large chips there will be a massive increase in price for a FEW extra chips. If you feeding your family on a budget forget about this place. Either reduce your prices or increase the portions Accordingly, nobody want to feels ripped off by places like this anymore when handing over our hard earned money... It's a shame you only care about the tourists and not the locals who keep you open out of season. Manors and a smile cost nothing, some times it's the little things that really brings a place down.

Is part of the Bispham Kitchen (which I think is a lovely place), great fish, chips slightly undercooked - but I'm sure they'll leave them in a bit longer if you tell them. Generous portion.Tasty curry sauce. Friendly, and we were lucky with a parking space right outside their door. Will come back when I'm in the area. Had them in a carpark with a view on a great day.

£7-odd for half a scoop of chips, two anaemic sausages and a bottle of water. And that was after being rudely accosted by the guy behind the till for my order. Plenty of better choices in Blackpool so give this one a wide berth.

Walked in, couple of people in front of us, miserable guy walks down the queue "what you want" ,"I don't need any fish mate", thinking he was after the preorder you get in most chippys..... "I need to know what you want so I know how much to put in" with a sigh and a scowl. "Oh ok. 3 regular chips, a cone of chips and 2 gravy please mate". "Wasn't so hard was it" was the reply I got...Little did he know there was another 10 of us outside waiting to order. Taken a little aback, I soon gathered my thoughts, walked out and drove to seniors!!! You can keep your chips little man!!

Good chippy that friends and myself used after doing a charity run through Blackpool illuminations in our kit cars

Came to Blackpool with the kids to see the illuminations and stopped off at the Top Chippy bought a few different things totally circa £30 the chips where dry and the steak pie which it States is fresh and home made was terrible it was possibly the worse chippy I have ever had. It says outside that it was voted the best chippy in Blackpool god help the rest if this is the best

We have been coming to this chippy for years but not anymore! The steak and kidney pudding was terrible and the portion size has been reduced drastically! They also missed a meal off our order as well as the gravy on two of the meals. So after going back in for our missed order, in total we had 2 kids portion fish and chips, 1 adult fish and chips , a sausage and chips and a steak and kidney, came to £28!!

We've been going to Top Chippy, every time we've been to Blackpool, for years, but we won't be doing so again.The customer service was none existent and the staff looked fed up and in a bad mood. Portion sizes have been dramatically reduced and so has the quality - the chips and sausage we ordered were not nice at all and left the three of us feeling a bit rubbish afterwards and actually made our daughter sick.We will not be going back. Very disappointed.

Best chips and fish I've ever eaten! Not greasy, and plenty tasty!

Ordered chips from here two regular and one large. The large wasn't much bigger than the regular and they were dry and just not very nice. Ended up throwing them all away.We got seen to quickly as it was quite empty but for 3 lots of chips it took a long time to receive them. The service just seemed slow by the time we got our chips a long line had formed near the door.
