Not too sure where to begin. Absolute shambles we laughed on the way out. We arrived and was met with the most miserable of waitresses who clearly hated her job…. And people. We then went up for the carvery, the guy carving the meat was friendly. But the meat was pure stringy fat. Vile. Then we move on to the help your self selection, hours old roast potatoes, no veg, no gravy. All in all it took a good 20 minutes to get the food from asking for things to be replaced. There were 2 lady’s behind us also laughing at the sheer disregard for customers PAYING for this service. So we all just stood shaking our heads for a bit wondering what was going on, because well I’ve never had an experience at a toby like this before! The icing on the cake for us all was when my friend (male) found a long hair in his meal!!!! When he told the waitress he wasn’t paying for this she said “I’ll have to check it’s not up to me” then came back and said “yeah that’s fine” no apology, nothing. Just like we were all massive inconveniences. Avoid here at all costs. Save your money. It was that bad we didn’t even bother finishing off our beers!

The staff clearly don’t enjoy working there and it shows in their demeanour and attitude. All staff were grumpy. It says on the website that some food options may not be available - but when you go to a Carvery and the only meat options are turkey and an seagull joint of beef it is not good. We refused to pay for the meat as we ended up eating just the veg. They were lucky that we did not pay less than we did.

All you can eat breakfast 9 til 11 for 4.99.Kids 3.79. Bottomless filter coffee 2.49.If you're only having one, you can get a proper latte for 2.79.We arrived at 10am and the stock was running low. It was quiet. There were no vegetarian sausages so they made the customers scrambled egg. We chose this over trying the Farmhouse Inn at the same price, but might have made the wrong choice with these limitations.Veggie options:BeansPlum tomatoesHash brownEggUsually, not all available at the same time.Recommended if passing only, next time, wouldn't drive here from the pier.

Hi, I must say I was a bit disappointed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I only put three stars because the meat was sliced very thin and not much of it as in another well-known carvery I go to. And it was also only warm. I don't know if this is because it was four pm and just started serving again as we had to wait a little while.I had been to Tobys before and was okay so sorry will give the Preston road Blackpool one a miss. Thanks Edward.

Good value for money. The carvery wasn't great and other options were very limited. Staff where friendly and overall it wasn't too bad.

I would of given 5 stars for the yummy Yorkshire puddings they are massive, very tasty and filling but unfortunately wasn't impressed with the lack of choice in veggies nor the roast potatoes they wasn't crispy enough and the actual.potatos had a funny starchy taste, the honeycomb ice cream sunde was just little bits of honeycombs in a watery tasting ice-cream with chocolate sauce so nothing to write home about.About 4 staff members just stood nattering to each other in the corner not a nice feeling like your being watched when eating your meal and I witness just one staff member clean tables while other's walked round pretending to be busy.I'd recommend for the Yorkshire puddings the BEST I've ever tasted but that's about it.

We was always a avid visitor to Toby. Over the last few years it was always good. Last couple of times .loo warm everything. Meat loo warm. And for the price it looked like a child's portion. I won't be returning at ÂŁ16.00 for 2 people.

Absolutely shocking. Definitely not worth ÂŁ11 for a vegetarian meal. I also mentioned how it costs less for a vegetarian plate, but was told it didn't make a difference. Bad selection of food, and our king sized plates did not receive the sausages. Distraught. Won't be returning. The man in morecambe gave me three Yorkshire puddings and we had a much more pleasant experience there.

Food was piping hot. Veg was the usual Toby offerings. I had the beef and gammon nice and tender full of flavour. Will definitely visit again.

The service by the male waiter was really friendly and helpful when we arrived. Unfortunately his shift ended and so did the wonderful hospitality. There were several very judgemental ladies waiting on.Many items were not available and we were limited being a vegan family because our little ones have so many allergies. The carvery was a great disappointment. No sprouts, No broccoli, No green beans. At the end, the waitress questioned EVERYTHING we had ordered, making us feel like we had stolen food and drink. We had three 'refillable' soda drinks for the adults and two tap waters for the little ones. Three times we were questioned about the amount of sodas. We asked for two extra bowls to split the sorbet dessert between two little ones and so we were now questioned about how many desserts we had actually had.My eldest daughter wanted to take her carvery back with her as she had not had much chance to eat, after dealing with two little ones. Also one of the little ones had left her food so this was also in a take away carrier. We were questioned as to whether we had ordered this on top of our food bill.I would not recommend this place due to this awful service.
