Loved the Waverly. Good coffee and lovely fish and chips....and the portion was just right, not too much. I hate when they give you a huge amount of chips. Service was very quick and friendly as well. 👍😃........Update. Wednesday I ate at Harry Ramsdens, though good and really nothing wrong with either food or service I couldn't give it a 5 star as I didn't think it had the homely, local "feel" of the Waverly, although I'd never eaten at the Waverly before, (last time I came to Blackpool was 50 years ago when I was 6) I felt as if it was my local chippy at home.😃

After a good day in Blackpool and a good evening at the illuminations, we was throughly disappointed at the food that was served that was claiming to be fish and chips. A birds eye fish finger had more fish in it.

Freshly cooked fish to order , cannot fault the service or the food on offer ..consistently good time after time !

Very nice food a little expensive but quick service

Worst cafe and service I've ever had. After hearing how great the cafe was and how you could get pretty much anything and great value for money I took my daughter. Asked for a hot beef sandwich and chips and chicken nuggets and chips and a can of fanta. What came was a tiny plate of cold beef sandwiches with a salad. Small plate of chips and a bowl of nuggets. Asked at the counter if my chips where coming as I assumed he misheard about the sandwiches which I could overlook to be told the chips were already at the table. Repeated my order to the man who just didn't care. Asked how that came to 10 pound? Just to be met with a look. No apology or offer of a refund. I'd double check the prices as its not the same as the menu. Don't waste your time clearly they don't care about what they serve you and don't care about their customers.

Came here today order the fish chips peas bread and butter "special" for £4 each well the only thing special about it was the tiny portion you got! Also ordered a hollands pie was served a slice of homemade pie at nearly £3! Total rip off wont return again

Sorry I normally don’t do 2 ⭐️ ratings, but. Portions small , and you have to pay extra for a ketchup and £0.90 for mushy peas 🤔 which is included in small fish and chips for free.

Cup of tea owfull tea bags yoused over and over again week tea fish and chips the site of a kids plate and is the same size of the menu eat it becouse k paid for it tho but no flaver at all don't bother ppl is owfull
