The fish was the worst fish I've ever had in 43 years; uncooked, flabby, soggy batter and the fish itself didn't have much flavour but was just about edible. The chips were reasonably acceptable, if I'd just had them I'd have gone away happy so they get one point for that. The mushy peas had a funny taste and were dry and solidified. It's a great shame as this was a decent chippy a few years ago but I'd never go back again.

Really disappointed! Woodheads used to be the best chippy by far even driving from the North of Blackpool down to the south to stop at the chippy before heading home. After visiting at the weekend we won't be returning. Soggy, greasy chips, tasteless, cold mushy peas and the fish was fried in dirty batter was full of grease and the fish its self nothing to write home about. I didn't even eat mine what you see in the picture is what I left. No one came to check if the food was okay after bringing it over, If they had I've had said something to them. Weve had such good experiences here pre covid it's such a shame to see this quality being delivered. My gran used to bring us here over 10 years ago and its always been our chippy of choice when visiting Blackpool.Just to note it wasn't busy there was literally our table another table of about 6 to 8 people and a couple in.The kids hotdog meal is literally a chippy sausage in a bun... no hotdogs in sight. No fish nuggets as ordered.. typo on menu.. delivered chicken nuggets and when you're autistic that doesn't cut it when you're expecting fish!Only good thing was the cuppa. Decent brew but failing massively on the fish front. Won't be coming back and will be heading back to Lily's at Central for a decent fish and chips.

Wow! The steak pie came out as a huge homemade slice, filled to the top with huge chunks of real beef, no gristle, no fat, unbelievable! Absolutely delicious and well worth the price. Lovely staff. I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely shocking cafe, if that's what ye call it. stopped in for a bite and bought the steak pie & mash. The steak pie can only be described as a cheap frozen pie heated up in a microwave and plastic mash potatoes, but wait we got a free kids meal, even that was disgusting. Very cheap basic eating joint but wont be back here after feeling queezy later that night after eating here. Enjoy at your own risk.

I always visit Woodheads whenever I'm in Blackpool! Great food at brilliant prices and the staff are very friendly. The food is prepared quickly and always served piping hot.
