BEST fish & chips in the North West of England, as simple as that! I have been coming here since 2010: if you go to Blackpool and you do not have fish & chips at the Yorkshire Fisheries, you are missing out, big time! Not only the food is exquisite and never greasy, but the portions are very generous as well, as you can see from the pics. And finally, the atmosphere is very relaxed, super friendly, it is like dining with a nice & happy family. Do not miss it on your next staying in amazing Blackpool.

Best fish and chips in Blackpool, staff are amazing and so helpful. Prices to eat in very reasonable. My son was in his chair and it was no trouble to get the ramps out for him to get in. Maria is so lovely it's a great place for the best chips and fish in Blackpool. Really want to try the lies but always can't resist the fish.

Visited On The 4Th Of December 2021Entered To See It Was Packed Showing How Popular This Plaice IsI Ordered My Usual And Staff We’re All Ready Quick To Take My Order. Food Came By In No TimeThe Fries Were Very Unique Compared To Other Chippy’s I’ve Been To. The Mix Between Gravy And Peas Balanced The Flavours Very Well And Overall Had A Slight CrunchThe Star Of The Show The FishFish Was Very Crispy And When Combining All The Items On The Plate It Adds So Much In Terms Of TasteI’m Very Impressed Its Also Quite Big Now I Understand The Popularity Of This PlaiceStaff Was Amazing Foods Great Definitely A Big Pick By Me. Love From Me ❤️❤️❤️

Saw this place on youtube (walk with me Tim) it was a good walk away but well worth it. Best fish I've had I think, the home made curry sauce is a must try as well! All staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming also. Will definitely visit again if we are in Blackpool. Empty plates all round.

An award winning chippy year after year. We can certainly see why! It’s a highly recommend chippy in Blackpool - a place I used to go with my nan growing up.Thank you so much to the staff who were welcoming and friendly as soon as we walk in (it says a lot about a place when the staff are happy)! They talked us through the table service (ordering & paying) and often checked on us to see if everything was to our satisfaction. I can’t think of anything negative to say about our lunch at Yorkshire Fisheries. We ordered the ‘special’ ; tasty cod/haddock with chips and a side ** choice of white or brown bread. Choice of coffee or tea. Choice of mushy peas, curry, gravy or baked beans. £10!!!!!!

Very friendly staff, a decent selection of items and plenty of seating. The prices are quite high, even when compared to our local chippy down here in London, but I'd say it's worth paying for the quality. The staff can make or break a restaurant and I'm happy to say they couldn't be more friendly. Only thing that confused me was that this was voted Lancashire's award with the name Yorkshire Fisheries and run by Scottish. Talk about putting three very proud groups together.

Ultimate fish and chips experience, get it on your to do list when in Blackpool.Excellent restaurant quality service despite being extremely busy when we visited, the guy who served us was very organised.Food was excellent. We had the 2 specials one with cod, one with Haddock with a side and drink for £10. Both peas and curry sauce were great, curry sauce has a real nice kick with it. Will be back.

Called in for tea one evening due to all the positive reviews. Really friendly service and we didn't wait too long for our food once we'd ordered. Not the best fish n chips I've ever had but they wasn't the worst . Nice place to visit if you prefer to eat in rather than walk around ,but I wouldn't rush back .

Best Fish! Soooo tasty, absolutely love the batter light but crispy and puffy, fish taste so fresh. I tried both the cod and haddock, personally I think the haddock has more umami flavour, while the cod has the thicker juice meaty fish. But still Both are recommended. Mushy peas are tasty as well, chips its only personal preference but I like if its cooked for few more minutes. Absolutely perfect! Price wise also really good and worth it. Let’s talk about the staffs, they are amazing providing the best services, very welcoming, quick and responsive. You might want to wait bit more but its understandable during busy lunch time. We went there for lunch then went to amusement park all day, head back there 7.30 pm for dinner without realising that they close at 7. If only I didn’t live 2.5 hours away, I can eat this every other day ❤️
