Really good food, well cooked and tasty. Steak and chicken with Spicy rice was excellent.

This is my first review i have ever written. I dont usually leave reviews even if food is sub standard. On this occassion i feel compelled to write this review so others can be well informed. As I feel oppressed parting with my money at this establishment. The chicken tandoori masala was like boiled chicken mixed with a ready made patak curry sauce. Food was cold. Chicken and steak was very rubbery and tasteless and chewy. The naan bread was under cooked.Special sauce on steak was like watered down ketchup. Guy on counter made it sound like a Michelin star restaurant when in reality it was very bad experience especially during these economic times. I have travelled 100 miles from Birmingham as this place was recommended. I'm travelling back home with a rumbling stomach . All 3 of us in a bad way and need some mints to remove the flavour. Avoid at all cost. !!

Food is good, not just my opinion nearly everyone I know thinks the steak prrice are too high. For example £12-14 for a small plate. Nope it's not Toros, but the food is decent

Been visiting for year's.. Might not look the greatest but always has fantastic fresh food available.. Can't go wrong with the mix grill and (shredded)steak and chips

·

I ordered the chicken and rice. The portion seems to have gone from a full plate to a smaller amount. So you're getting less for your money. That's why it's gone down a star, as it was somewhere where I looked forward to eating when going into Bolton.

The food is amazing! Good place to sit and eat. Well recommend!

Service is good but the food is overpriced and without sauces the steak is tasteless. Steak&chicken with fries, a plain naan and a can £13 disappointed.

I went in on Wednesday evening at around 8pm where It was fairly busy. I ordered 2 chicken and chips and one steak and chips. The chicken and chips were priced at £7.50 each and steak and chips £9.50 each. Staff were nice and friendly however the food was awful which is a shame as I had previously dined in and the food was great. The chicken and chips was very curry like and was swimming in oil. The steak and chips tasted horrible as though it was off. There was no seasoning whatsoever. To top it all off the portion sizes weren’t exactly worth what I paid for. I was very disappointed with the meal as I had spent £28.50 and I felt robbed for what I had received. I hate to say this but I probably won’t be eating from here again and advise those who want a steak and chips/chicken and chips takeout that there are better alternatives nearby. I’ve attached a photo showing how much oil was in the tray even after I drained the oil before opening the tray

Another excellent meal at a place that is totally consistent and reliable. Scrupulously clean and following all the Covid rules so you feel as safe eating here as always.

Excellent food good size portions. Food was little spicey we ask for medium but it was towards high spices. It took a while 2 server the food I assume that's because they make everything fresh.
