Chill @ The Cowshed in Bolton

My first time visiting Horwich and im so pleased i did. 'Chill" was lovely and the staff an absolute delight. We had the large breakfast and coffees , we were the most awkward of customer as we had a pram and a walking aid would love to visit again.

I'm at this place all the time. Never had a bad meal, amazing deli panini's, specials board always has something different to offer. The kids meal deal is fantastic and good value for money. Great choice of cakes and a huge range of ice creams. Highly recommended!

Good food at good prices. Boutique next door is worth a visit

We used to come here a lot but we moved out of Horwich a while back and decided to have a drive out for lunch. Our first thought was that the menu was now too big. The service was very slow and the food was average. The pasta "special" was clearly half a packet of the boiled, filled pasta from Aldi with a bland tomato sauce. My side salad had crisps on top of coleslaw, so half of them were soggy. Sorry Cow Shed, but you've lost a customer.

Very family friendly, even your dog is welcome! Lovely food and drinks, all needs catered for (gluten free, Vegan etc) Bright happy atmosphere no matter what season. Out door seating, takeaway, good service from friendly staff. Just a very special place.

Excellent food, good atmosphere, attentive staff. My first choice all the time.

Went for lunch today (06/11/21), the staff were lovely and service was good however the food was not great, I had the ‘gourmet’ panini, the bacon was very thick and salty with a lot of rubbery fat. The sweet onion chutney just tasted strange, no other way to describe it, not nice.My friend had the beef and onion panini which looked awful and dry, she couldn’t eat much of it.The cappuccino was just a very milky coffee no foam.The cafe itself was absolutely filthy, the toilet was pretty disgusting, not just a days build up of mess, looks like it’s not seen a proper clean in months. Dust and dirt everywhere, glass topped tables with what looked like brown sauce trapped under them?? Why put a glass top on a stained dirty table. The place needs a deep clean all over.

Never had a bad experience here.Food Hot/Cold is delicious,Decent range of drinks to have and of course the main selling point for me is the Ice cream.So many fresh and tasty flavours to choose from and none of them taste cheap.100% a must try!

We had kids meals which were very nice and I had a delicious haloumi pepper salad plus a salted caramel milkshake!!! Delicious!

Great freshly prepared food, delicious homemade cakes. Tea is served in a proper tea pot with lovely mismatched china cups and saucers. A quaint place with a lovely friendly atmosphere which has become a firm favourite. The staff are lovely and friendly and you never feel rushed.
