Visited on a whim today. Very disappointed. Ladies toilets out of order: disabled toilets dilapidated and not particularly clean.Lots of tables had used dishes on and/or weren't clean, even though at 1.30pm pub very quiet and staff standing around. Was looking forward to a good meal but simply could not find anything that appeared and ended up leaving.Would not recommend at all.

Nice place, but it is a kid friendly pub and there is always loads of kids.. For me this is a bit of an off put as a nice meal to the sounds of screaming toddlers is not ideal, buuut it's nice and close to the Cineworld cinema.. The staff seem friendly, and always seem on the go which is good. The wait time for the food was short and the food was enjoyable. All reasonably priced.

Visited during a mid-week dinner time and ordered using the app - which was very handy!Food was generally good, however I felt that the value for money wasn't as good as other brands that are also owned by Greene King. The venue itself felt a bit scruffy and rundown - although was pretty clean.Overall, wasn't a bad experience - just not as good as other places owned by the same company.

Good food great place decent prices.. A little slow bringing stuff out but seemed short on staff... Will happily go again no issues

Food was nice. Quite a few things out of stock so had to relook at the menu a few times. Looks like it needs a massive clean up too as the decor is a bit old and tired but like I said the food was nice.

Honestly haven't eaten anywhere near as badly as this since life left me eating from the bins at the back of circle K.Daughter got nachos that were soft and bendy... and she sent them back. We were told it was because they had sauce on them... we make nachos about twice per month, and not only did I do catering management at college, but my daughter is home educated and helps in a cafe once a week. Fob off claims don't wash well. The dry parts of nachos are not supposed to be flexible! There is no chef here. It's a wanna be cook throwing food together abysmally and with an arrogance that leaves them totally unable to take responsibility for the rubbish they're turning out.My daughter then ordered something she said they couldn't mess up, tomato pasta... and when it came..she said they messed it up.She said it was grainy, like it had sand in it, with cold sauce that didn't have any flavour. She's tried to shake it up with a bit of the dreadful hard dry sausage from her dad's breakfast but still couldn't eat it.Her dad always picks the "most filthy thing" on the menu for me, I love eating food that's totally different... And I have never, in 15 years, never been beaten. until now.Vimto burgers are actually grim AND worse with cold chips. It was like eating birthday cake with meat in. Sweet and meat is normally such an amazing combination and ordinarily something I'd choose but this was utterly vile. The chicken wings would have been fab... if not coated in some cold nandos type dipping sauce. The lady came and asked us if our meal was ok and we shock our heads and said not really...Looking at our still full plates, she reflected our distaste by wincing and walked away...That was it... Why ask at all? What is the purpose of saying "was everything ok with your meal?" Why look at whole entire meals and then not only ask but agree and walk away. After we finished our beer, I asked for a takeaway bag.. and told the server that if we couldn't eat it, I would at least feed it to my dogs! They eat out of the cat litter tray given half the chance...so won't be bothered.A whole new level of absolutely dreadful and it cost more than £40!The photos are some of the finished meals! I can only add 6.To top it all... cotton Kier replied "Glad we could help" on my Facebook review!

Visited with a couple of friends prior to Cinema to watch new Matrix film. All 3 of us went with Big Plate Special- All Day Breakfast.Plenty of condiments on the table, napkins and cutlery. Didn't have to wait long, happy and pleasant staff, food piping hot and lovely. Thank you very much, be back sometime soon.

Went with my wife yesterday. Excellent food and prices. The staff are beyond helpful. Possibly the friendliest we have encountered in the last few years. We were served by a pleasant young lady - Katie. Polite, friendly, very helpful and had a real work ethic. Highly recommended.

We had booked into a different Greene King a couple of miles away, we walked in spent 2 minutes and walked back out again. Checked on the map and found The Cotton Kier. Very glad we did. The staff where very welcoming and accommodating. Found us a seat straight away. Ordered at the bar, but the app was available. Only a short wait for the food, but well worth it. The steak I ordered came cooked perfectly and presented well. Very nice portions for the price. Desserts where bigger than expected and very nice. Overall I'm glad the other venue was not suitable for a nice meal (standing room only and very, very loud. More like a busy pub than an eatery).
