Nipped here last minute on the 25/6/22 and won't be going back ! The 'no fills' menu is basically 3 pieces of paper, that have been photocopied and look like they've been used to wipe the tables ? The choice & quality of the veg was pitiful and the mash ! You'd find more moisture on Mars than in this. Next up..the gravy. Other places I've been to, you get a choice of nice thick gravy...here you get one ! And it's so watered down, the farms nextdoor could water their crops with it. Plenty of food being left on other tables aswell, so we weren't the only ones finding it hard to eat. Either the kitchen staff (I refuse to call them chefs) couldn't be bothered working on a Saturday or the management aren't bothered about the standard of food being dished out ?

We went for a carvery which was wholesome and tasty, however the food could have been a wee bit hotter.πππ

We visited for the carvery on a Sunday approx 12.15pm.Food was tasty and plentiful. Would benefit from warming plates though as food went cold a little too quickly.Staff were friendly and efficient.

Old fashioned carvery traditional menu how many places still serve knicker bocker glory. Carvery extremely good value for money however they get the money back on other things as deserts aren't cheap. Staff pleasant and place clean.

Tasty carvery with the usual veg and meat options. The hunters chicken was also really nice. The views out the back of the car park are really nice too if you just want a drink with a nice view

Carvery was ok, rather bland, lemon cheesecake did not taste of lemon in the slightest. I do congratulate the chef though on how thinly he managed to slice the meat! Wafer thin! π

The best damn carvery I've ever had! Me and friend popped in there randomly after watching snooker at the University of Bolton Stadium and had the large carvery with beef, turkey and honey glazed gammon and it was absolutely amazing! The food was cooked to perfection, great selection of veg and amazing gravy. Would highly recommend. 10 out of 10

The best carvery around for a decent priced plate of food! Perfect for a Sunday evening however it does get quite busy! Highly recommended.
