Crown Hotel in Bolton

A good traditional pub fine ales and belting chip's

I'm never sure about this pub, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. It's expensive and there are better and cheaper pubs in Horwich.

Ordered spicy macaroni cheese. It was not spicy and it was literally burnt and stuck together. Waited an hour when it wasn't busy. Staff are good though

I stopped at this pub for quite drink ... unknown that Car park was not free to customer , I was told I had spent five pounds at the bar ..which was lie..Has I now have 60 pound fine ...I am never returning to this pub

Staff friendly, beer top notch, can't say I really enjoyed the steak and ale pie, think ght it would have been top notch, it looks amazing just lacks flavour, only reason for not 5 stars

Make sure pay by card and resister your car. Too dark to see notice board. Smart parking charged me £60. Appealed it and then they said it was fairly issued. Couldn’t be bothered dealing with stupid company, paid it as Christmas gift for them. Never use here again personally and any gathering s.

Terrible experience. We waited 90 minutes for our order. The food wasn't fresh. The burger was rock hard, salad slimy and the chips were dry and overcooked. I can not recommend the crown for a meal. I recommend an overhaul of the menu.

Terrible experience they stated would be 30mins waiting time . 90min later then the burgers was burnt and the chips under cooked. Peas was dry being under the lamps to long would not. Recommended this place

Nice place to go for a drink. Very busy on a Saturday evening. It's a shame that Holt's stopped them doing in house food, you can still eat there but in my estimation it's not as good.

least friendly pub have ever been to. staff are a complete misery, literally looked us in the eye sneered. Avoid this horrendous dump at all costs. After lockdown they're so lucky to be going and should be grateful of custom. avoid avoid avoid
