Best Chinese in Horwich, super quick with orders and delicious hot food.

We ate here on Monday night and since Tuesday we have both been really ill with a bad stomach! It's now Thursday and we are still not right. Never eating here again!

As there is not too much choice for Chinese takeaways in Horwich, opted for Golden Harvest after seeing they had the best Google reviews. Either the restaurant were having a bad day, all the reviews are fake or people in Horwich just aren't accustomed to good Chinese food.Spring rolls were ok, bit greasy. Salt and pepper ribs again were OK, but I'm personally not a lover of ribs when they are battered. As for the two mains, tasteless and bland. You generally expect a Szechuan to have a bit more of a kick. But yes the prawn crackers were great. 👍

Golden Harvest is reasonably price and always amazing. This has become my local Chinese takeaway as the friendly staff make me feel welcome and the food is consistently good!

Everybody has their individual favourite but the Golden Harvest is superb across the board - a solid 10 (with fried rice) out of 10.

Best Chinese food in Bolton/ Horwich by a mile. A great menu perfectly cooked along with great service. Please keep up the good work.

Excellent family run Takeaway been there for years and quality of the food is the best in town. Just wish they delivered. Would not go anywhere else.

Since moving back to my roots 2 yrs ago we have been Golden Harvest at least 12 times.Not on any occasion have we have been disappointed.They been in buisness well over 25 yrs so they obviously are doing something right.Would not go anywhere else if having a takeway. Def 5 star from me.oh and very polite and friendly.Thankyou Golden Harvesttheu obvioysly are pleasing the customers

Best Chinese food in the area. Been going longer than I can remember so tells it’s own tale.Really friendly service and great quality food. Never had a bad meal yet.

Just had sweet and sour chicken, one for myself and one for my daughter. One batch of fried chicken was very tough and the other quite soft. Perfumey taste to the sauce which didn't go down well with me. The rice was not good either. Prawn crackers pretty good, glad I ordered them or would be feeling fairly hungry by now😂Don't like to give a bad review but sometimes it's necessary.
