Gourmet Garden in Bolton

Worst Chinese I have ever tried and I am 70. Two meals, salt and pepper chicken, special Szechuan, salt and pepper chips and hot and sour soup got thrown into the bin, all tasted of rancid grease. Will never buy from here again.

Fried rice looked just like boiled rice with a bit of egg in no taste bland egg foo Young looked like it was just dark drown scrambled egg with bean sprouts thrown in all had no taste curry sauce was ok

Been going here for years they 100% make the best hot and sour soup! There other dishes are good never had a bad meal ❤

A lot of my friends go to gourmet garden's the menu is easy to read the staff are very friendly. I ordered vermicelli noodles which is chicken,pork,prawns,beef and crispy noodles you get what you pay for I highly recommend if you want a good Chinese meal.

Waste of money. Don't take these positive comments as gospel. Typical money grabbing asains.. food was OK but nout special. Ribs are basically fried fat/gristle. Chow main very sloppy

I will never order from here again!! Thought we would try it for the first time, ended up with food poisoning absolutely disgusting! Do not order from here!!!!!!! I wouldn’t of put one star but will only let me leave a review if I leave one.

I've just received my latest order from Gourmet Garden. We've used them for years but I now feel I have to share my thoughts. I have given 2 stars, and I only awarded these due to the food being so nice. If my score was based on the service alone I would have given a zero ! I ordered at 6pm and was not told of any expected delay in the delivery time. I was still sat waiting for my food at 7.20 pm so I decided to call and chase it up. I was told (via a well rehearsed lie) that the driver was on his way. Really ???? 20 minutes later, at 7.40 there was finally a knock on the door. I hasten to add, it woke me up !!!! Pull your socks up Gourmet Garden, or you'll lose a lot of custom !!

Got to have been the worst Chinese meal I have ever had! Had special fried rice, the fried rice looked more like boiled and tasted greasy, the prawns (of which there were 3) were tiny, the char siu was the greyest I have ever seen, the chicken was obviously a leg that had been boiled and added later. Really horrible food - just don't!

Wot did i like about it .. crap confo on phone didnt understand wot i was ordering ... took over 5 mins to take order .. specail curry mushroom fried rice n portion of chips ... didnt say how mutch the bill was ... 55 mins later .. bill was wen guy knoked on door £13.. looked at reciept £4-30 for mushroom fried rice .. dont want it ... rip off ... stay away...

A family run business, very friendly and helpful. Food is of good quality and consistant usually delivered within 40 mins of ordering would recommend them as never had a problem in over 5 years.
