Beautiful restaurant with the best food. I took my father for a treat and we had the tandoori grill and chicken tikka masala. There was plenty of food and the staff were amazing. It doesn't have a licence for alcohol which didn't bother us but you can take your own. If you want an amazing curry check this place out you will not be disappointed. I will certainly be going back.

Fantastic place, fantastic food both in and as take away went again last night (9.3.22) under the new name and is still the best around here by a mile.

Went on Thursday, it was super quiet we where the only people on their. The food was delicious and the prices fair, we had a special Thursday deal for a starter, main, rice/naan for £12.50. would recommend. Unfortunately they don't serve alcohol but can bring your own and they dont do deserts either.

Was looking forward to tasting there food after seeing the awards they got sadly was only average garlic balti was bland with no aromatic flavours plus the chicken was very dry, naan bread was mainly crispy

Noted the below comments and having checked the Food Standards Agency rating as a 2, I knocked off a star accordingly. So 4 stars - yes the food is that good. In a party made up of diverse backgrounds, ethnicities and people from opposite ends of the country; the concensus was that this was hands down the best Indian meal people had ever experienced. Certainly my main, a Rogan Josh (mildly spiced by request) the best I had ever tasted.Starters came and immediately the size of the onion bhajis drew gasps. Given the price was so reasonable and I was starving I'd gone for something a bit more substantial worried onion bhajis wouldn't be enough. I needn't have worried. The things are huge and delicately made. Probably the best in the UK. Others had a mixed grill affair, cake in a sizzling plate, served with salad. Impressive, cooked perfectly, flavours incredible.Mains were equally impressive, one member went for the vindaloo and was sweating by the end, but meat was so tender, expertly prepared in a lavish sauce. The same could be said of the other curries on the table. Rice dishes and naan breads all present and correct. No complaints.A note on the staff, very friendly, very efficient and very helpful. Our server (forgot name) was making jokes of an appropriate nature, and the impression given was that nothing was too much trouble. All in, a 2 star hygiene rating would probably motivate the staff to improve things, after all you can't have so much pride in your food to be so well recognised, without having the wherewithal and determination to put things right. Absolutely outstanding food and even though Indian cuisine is not my favourite, I'd have no hesitation in returning here nor recommending it.

Lovely restaurant and service is always good. Friendly staff and great selection of food. The chef is great and always surprises us with his great flavours. No party is to big or to small for them. They got it all covered. My family had a great time at this restaurant and we surely will return many more times. Thumbs up and see you soon.

Hot chilli is now boasting a new menu which has exceeded it's expectation and is as good as ever. They have a wide range of starters, main dishes, speciality dishes, sides and more. They are licences and serve an outstanding pint of Cobra. They also serve a wide selection of wines, spirits and cider. The staff are warm, polite and friendly. They will cater for you specific needs and can be flexible. All dishes are reasonably priced and delicious. The decore is clean and moden and has a nice ambience. My recommendations include - for the fish lover s. Fish pakora (lightly spiced battered fish. This is very tasty and light and crisp. Not a heavy batter) Tandoori king prawns, Keema bhuna or for the vegiterians sagwala (spinach dish also nice with lamb) or lamb biriani (tasty rice dish that comes with a curry sauce) of the menu dishes are available.

Service was ok, however the food wasn’t all that. I ordered ‘chana chaat’ for starters and it was the strangest version of it I’d ever seen. The food just wasn’t as tasty as I expected it to be. It was my first time visiting and I don’t think I will visit again. From the outside the place looks amazing, however inside the decor was quite dated and didn’t get a lively feel from it.
