Lovely place to eat. Went for lunch was seated straight away ordered food and drink at the bar. Drink came straight awayFood arrived ten minutes later. Had a roast it was hot and fresh. Best Yorkshire puddings I have ever has. Beef was thick and tender. Can't fault anything with the service or the quality of the food.

Had a lovely meal at The Tavern today, we took the grandchildren at about 4pm, the staff were very attentive and the food was excellent, don't think i have ever had a bad meal, would highly recommend

Lovely atmosphere and fantastic fresh food. I have the pesto chicken on ciabatta. The chicken was superbly cooking, still moist and full of flavour. We have eaten there a few times and never had a bad meal. Highly recommended

A large, beautiful pub/restaurant. Not cheap, but food and service of a very high standard. All six of us had excellent meals. A memorable occasion.

We love The Tavern as a family fantastic service delicious food great range of drinks, going tomorrow for a meal for my sons 18th birthday looking forward to it.

The best afternoon tea by far. Would highly recommend. Lovely staff too. I will certainly be returning 👌xx

Not bad service was good but I ordered chicken in a basket described as Chicken with BQ Sauce & melted cheese. The portion was very small & the cheese certainly wasn't cheader it had a slight mustard taste. The BQ Sauce was nice but soon ran out for £14.95 I expected my plate to be full or at least my stomach but neither was the case. My sister had Gammon which was nicer & plenty more on the plate it tasted nice too so if I go there again I'd opt for that instead.

My wife and I had a meal at the Tavern Fayre on Sat 4 Dec 21 from their Christmas Menu. The meal was excellent, well portioned, tasty and cooked to perfection. To cap it all, the staff in the Tavern are all friendly and professional. A most enjoyable evening and fully recommended.

We go there 2 or three times a month, always good food and service. Went today good food and service as always, only downs side is they've stopped the light menu after 4:00 which my wife usually has, on the bright side is saved a bit of money, as we didn't have a sweet like we usually do because we were too full. :). We'll be going back soon you never know the management may realise what they have done.
