10 of us went for a meal yesterday and not 1 of us enjoyed the food. For a start the menu was very limited, the portions were small a the food was tasteless. On the plus side, the service was good.

Lovely pub, friendly service. Went above and beyond helping us host a memorial for my nan. Great food and quick service.

Food it good but hardly any option for vegitarian I contacted them directly and was given 3 option only suitable for vegitarians if you ate vegitarian I would save your money and go elsewhere.

Went to the Jolly with a friend and our kids today. Service wasn't up to the usual standard. Items missing from orders that took too long to arrive. I asked for 1/2 roast chicken dinner and was presented with a dry chicken breast. My friend asked for her food without mash and it still came on the plate, the waitress scraped it off the plate but not entirely. I wouldn't say it was good value for money either. Overall, I think they need to do better. It wasn't as if the place was busy either. There were 3/4 tables in that had almost finished when we arrived.Based on my last two/three experiences, I won't be returning any time soon.

Decent but over priced and limited variety when it comes to food. Drinks where fairly priced I suppose also found the layout a little crampt inside and had many issues when trying pay by card. No perosnlay a place I'd recommend.

Lovely place and staff. Even better bonus as food great. Big group came on Thursday 3rd June, all went perfect. Thankyou x

Table booked for 13 people. 1 of the Kids meals way over cooked, chicken goujons were hard and black, inside chicken was very dry. Expected better as restaurant our food order for 24hrs previous. Adults and kids burger and chips was the same portion size. Only difference was adults was on brioche buns and came on a slate slab rather than a plate. Other meals and desserts can't fault

Cheap and cheerful. The staff do well with okay produce. There was some chewy meat and suspiciously frozen salad but otherwise the flavours were alright considering it's not expensive. Staff friendly and helpful, abatement would do well to invest more in fresh quality produce. No music and not much atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon but pleasant and peaceful enough

Only ever nipped in here prior to this evening, once in passing for a quick pint and game of pool and looked at the food menu on offer and was impressed. Hence the visit this evening in passing again. The bar area is cool inside with some very smart comfy seating and a big screen TV, dart board and as already mentioned, pool table. 1st time eating here tonight and we was not disappointed😁👍 Offering a diverse menu, full of home cooked grub, with a friendly, polite and very professional service in the dining area, followed by fantastic, wholesome food, reasonably priced, washed down with a nice cold pint 🍺 Can recommend the Garlic Mushrooms, Homemade Burger with Halloumi and also the Beef Stroganoff 😋😋😋

Visited the JC with my partner and 6 month old girl. Was a totally different place to last time - the food was fantastic, wonderful flavours, good value and certainly left satisfied! Staff were lovely and attentive. Much improved and will definitely go back.
