Jolly Crofters in Bolton

Me and my beautiful friend was served by Barrie. He was very smartly dressed, polite also friendly even went out of his way to remind us about traveling back home and taxis may not be available due to the time of day. The food was good but not 5 * maybe 4* and the drinks 5* overall 4.9 stars

This is such a great place for people with dogs. So dog friendly. I have eaten here twice recently. Absolutely delicious. Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful pub, outside seating.

Excellent venue and extremely nice food. The staff member in question, Barry, that served us was very impressive and is a credit to the pub. There is a nice spacious ambience and it's in a lovely location, with an ample car park.

Frequent visitor to the Jolly Crofters, Great pub, good choice of drinks on tap and bottled selection and decent prices too.We've had a couple of meals and never been disappointed, quality home cooked food, generous portions and really tasty. The staff are very accommodating if there is anything particular you want.Highlight of the week is the Monday evening quiz night.The owners are great people, really friendly, get to know the customers and go the extra mile. Everyone is welcome and the pub offers a great atmosphere with character and history thrown in. The locals are a brilliant bunch of people too.Definitely worth a visit for food and drinks, I don't live local but i've made it my weekly regular. Credit to Alison and Barrie for making it what it is. They do a lot for charity and to support local businesses, certainly worth a visit.

A brilliant pub with a very friendly atmosphere. They provide an excellent quiz every Monday evening, incorporating Play your Cards Right, Irish Bingo and Open the Box. A great fun night. Alison always greets us in a very friendly manner. Well recommended.

Alison and Barrie make you feel very welcome. We love the quiz on a Monday night and have eaten here a few times, every time the food and service was great 👍

I was really impressed with the amount of vegan options. I ordered the mushroom pie and my partner ordered the veggie burger. Our food was excellent, it's the best pub lunch I've had in years and I can't wait to go back again.

The food was beautiful the atmosphere was fantastic. Alyson and Barry are such fantastic hosts and make you feel so welcome. We will definitely be returning. Oh and the drink selection is so good.

Alison and Barrie agreed to host my 60th and were so helpful. The staff were amazing and all my guests were so well looked after. Food is amazing and a great night was had by all

Not the best I'm afraid, the roast beef was tough, the rest was ok and the wife's turkey was fine, I let them know and got £5.00 back on my £10.95 meal.It's a shame because in mid December the roast dinner was fine.Just a side note, when we went to pay I noticed that the Yorkshire pudding was listed as an extra 50p for each meal, we was not told on ordering that this was a choice.Can the hosts please explain.Regards.John.
