Little Lantern in Bolton

Main issue I have is quality of food compared to the past and current prices. Very expensive compared to competitors such as tongue fold Chinese chef and chips r us. Please not we order as a club and mainly eat chips curry rice etc … main meals are very very good … so would defo advise if ordering this type of food. However mini easy to eat stuff is not close to standard of competition.

First time trying here, never again. Chicken dry it sat in a warmer that long, customers in shop get ignored for ages. Defo wont be going back

ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING!!!!!Been using this place for over 6years. over the past few month the meals have been hit and miss but just took this as busy periods and we do live right on the edge of the area they cover.But tonight we have paid £28 for a meal which when we sat down to eat we left more than 3/4 of the plate as there was just no taste. And tasted like pure salt and the chicken was dry and also the chips were still hard in the center.We contacted the shop to say we could not eat the food as it was genuinely not edible for the manger on the phone to just say I am sorry and I will pass your message onto the chef and was leaving it as that and did not offer a refund considering there was more than 3/4 of the hole order left or Evan to re make the food for us.She continued to be very unhelpful and say we do not give refunds as the food now will not be able to be re heated to be sold on as it is a popular dish at this point was Evan more shocked and makes me wonder weather the past meals we have had from them over the months that have also not been very good has the been re heated food. At the end of the day any restaurant take away and business that is to sell any type of product that is not satisfactory should offer for the item to be re made or a refund to be issued not to be told there is nothing that can be done.Will never be using this place again and will never recommend absoluty discussing customer service.And if I could offer less that 1 star I would but google will not allow me to.

Best takeaway ever. I have been going to Little Lantern since they opened. Never had a bad meal. Service and food outstanding.

I adore this venue very much. It has a very nice atmosphere. The kitcen is tasty. the service is dynamic and the crew is polite. The price is modest. profoundly recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing as always never had a bad meal from here I'm currently going through the menu, the only down side is they don't do card.. So take cash with you

Ordered for collection said it would be ready at 6.30. Went to collect at 6.35 to ensure it was ready and to maintain my distance and eventually got my order at 18.55 after standing in shop for 20 mins with 3 other customers and delivery drivers coming in and out. Don't mind the original 40 minute wait but would have expected it to be ready for collection at the time specified. Would have appreciated them telling me there was another 20 mins to wait when I entered shop then I could have at least waited in the car.

I visit this marvelous place often since I like the good air that is outline this restaurant. The crew is extremely welcoming and experienced. The service is very quick. Needless to say, the food you eat is excellent. I ate there more than once and I was always pleased. The price is decent. I suggest this restaurant to to all.
